All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped. * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday June 29th from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered. Adoption Fee: $1000 Gravy is a 4 month old Havanese mix who is looking for her family of biscuits to make her life complete! Gravy was rescued from a backyard hoarding situation with her brother, Biscuit, when they were only 6 weeks old. They were covered in fleas and ticks and needed some serious TLC. After many baths and lots of filling meals, we watched these adorable fluffers blossom into the puppies we see today! We will be looking for separate homes for each puppy as we do not place siblings together. We expect Gravy to be in the 22-25 pound range when she reaches her adult weight. With her unique coloring and her fabulous personality, we know that Gravy will be the talk of the dinner table in no time! Gravy is a sweet and loving girl who has a heart of gold and a tail that never stops wagging. She loves her people more than anything and the best time of her day is when you hang out with her, showering her in snuggles and kisses. Gravy LOVES cuddles and would love to be the apple of your eye, getting all the attention you have to pour into her. She will be an amazing WFH companion as she wants nothing more than to follow you from room to room as you go about your day. Gravy loves being brushed and will sit for long stretches as you groom her soft fur. She is food motivated and super smart, making her eager to please and happy to learn new things. For a puppy, Gravy is more of a couch potato, but she can still get down with the best of them. She loves to nap right on the chest or lap of her people. She is also quite the fashionista and would love a wardrobe of bows and bandanas. We see a career as an Instagram model in her future! Gravy loves to be as close to her people as they will allow, and would be just the best friend anyone could ask for. She gains new fans whenever she hits the town, whether she’s grabbing a pup cup at the coffee shop or doing errands. Gravy will win you over from minute one with her puppy dog eyes and her sweet temperament. What more could you ask for from an adorable puppy? Gravy wakes up at 8 AM and heads outside immediately for a potty trip before she comes back inside. After some morning cuddles and kisses, she gets her breakfast at 8:30 AM while her foster family is getting ready for their days. She eats again at 12 PM and then has dinner at 6 PM. During the day, Gravy spends her time playing with her toys, napping on her soft blankets, and soaking up cuddles. Gravy eagerly awaits the return of her foster siblings from school and then happily zooms around the yard with them for a few hours. While her foster family eats dinner, she takes a nap on the couch. She then settles in for some TV time where she gets a long belly rub and snuggle session. Gravy heads outside for another potty trip around 9 PM and then supervises her foster family as they get ready for bed. She goes into her pen for the night at 10 PM. Gravy gets along well with dogs of all ages and sizes. She would thrive as either a member of a canine pack or as a solo pup. She loves kids and kids at heart, especially when humans have treats for her. Gravy is working on her leash skills in the backyard. She is house trained and pen trained. Gravy will thrive in puppy school and can’t wait to show off all the potential she has. If you’re looking for a forever best friend who is as cute as can be, you’ve met your match with Gravy!
