Story
Miss Scarlett is as adorable in character as in beauty. Fun, happy, silly, great puppy energy, lots of kisses, and affection to go around. There does not seem to be a person she does not like. Miss Scarlett lives with other dogs, likes kids and adults, and because she is so young, we think she can learn to live with cats. Her puppy nature may encourage her to chase at first, but she's a smart little thing, so with a confident human she can learn to live with cats. Miss Scarlett is about 6 to 7 months and weighs 14 pounds. Her breed is a guess. Maybe Havanese, Cairn Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Shih Tzu. ?? What do you think? Story
Looking for a home for Max, a adorable senior dog who suffers from severe separation anxiety. He thrives any environment where someone is always around. It would be especially helpful if there is another senior dog to keep him company. Max is a kind, affectionate dog who is great with kids and even gets along with cats. Despite his age, he still has a playful, puppy-like spirit and looks just as youthful as ever. However, with our two young kids and their busy schedule, we often have to leave him alone at home, which has been causing him a lot of stress. He was fine when my wife was home more often, but now with her responsibilities at home, Max's anxiety has worsened. Because of his anxiety, Max cant be left alone for long periods; he becomes so stressed that he may have accidents in the house, and we've had complaints from neighbors about his barking when left alone in a crate. If you're someone who works from home or is retired, Max would be an ideal companion.

Story
Hi, my name is Riley! I am less than 3 years young and still show off some puppy traits. I love playing 'tug-tug' with my four year old human foster-buddy. I get really vocal when I play. I know how to be gentle while playing, I go to great lengths to avoid landing on, biting, or scratching my foster-buddy. I like playing with him, but I REALLY enjoy playing with bigger humans more. With my foster family I haven't been able to play with other dogs. While on walks, I LOVE walks, I do encounter a number of other dogs and I usually come across pretty assertive, so I stay on-leash. Walking 1-2 miles per day helps keep me happy. I sometimes like a good speed walk and other times enjoy smelling the roses. I like to sleep on beds and give kisses. I also enjoy sitting on laps a lot! It took me a bit to get used to my foster-family's back yard, so it might take me a bit to get used to yours. I take baths well, but nail trimming… I do not like nail trimming… I bonded with my foster mom quickly, but get a little nervous sometimes when her big kids get me ready for a walk. I learned who lived in my foster house quickly. The more time you can spend with me, the happier I am!

Formally known as Chevy. That name just did not fit him. Monkey is approx 4yrs old mix who weighs 26lbs.  Monkey is a fun boy and should’ve been called Spiderman or tried out for ninja warrior. We tried to get the producers of American Ninja Warrior to allow him a chance to try out their agility course and unfortunately we never heard back from them. he would make a great agility dog. He’s a complete love and would enjoy adventures before curling up on the couch and cuddling. want more? Monkey is extremely affectionate and gets along great with people and other dogs…what more is there to say? Interested in meeting this cutie? Story
Hello Everyone! My name is Bouncy Benji and I’m a three year old Bichon Havanese mix who is 16 pounds of happy energy and fun. My foster Mom says I’m a very special boy who is very smart (more on that in a minute) and am ridiculously cute. I love to walk (I actually prance), play with toys (I can entertain myself if you are busy), am smart, sweet and both observant and respectful of ‘the rules of the house’. Perhaps the most amazing thing about me, though, is my love of life – and resilience. Before I became a FurKid I lived outside with other dogs and very little human attention. There were a lot of us so we never got to sit on laps or go for walks or learn commands. We didn’t get belly rubs or rides in the car or get to be groomed and feel good. All of that changed a few weeks ago. Now I have this great foster home, a doggy foster sister to observe and learn from – and I get cuddles and snuggles from Mom. (I’ve learned how to ask for them too!) In no time at all, I have learned the joy of going for a walk. I now take walks of two miles or more every morning and trot like a pony with a big smile on my face. Mom says that I truly love being outdoors-- and not just on walks! (She doesn’t have a yard so if I had a yard to sun and run in why I think I’d be in heaven!) I don’t tug on my leash or bark at other dogs either! Mom says I’m also her secret diet! You see, she’s lost weight taking me on my walks! Those walks help me to enjoy my ‘down time’ at home where I can show how smart I am by mastering puzzles and playing games like ‘find the hidden toy --or treat! Each day I’m making up for lost time, learning new things and exploring the world around me. I’ve mastered lots of things very quickly. Mom says that shows I’m learning commands and would like to learn more. Oh, and after a lot of activity, I love to stretch out on the floor (Mom says it’s my Superman stretch.) I’ve also been known to take a nap in that position.) I’m housebroken and crate trained (I go to sleep quietly in my crate after my last walk and stay asleep until morning) and I definitely respond to love AND structure. Because I have a lot of puppy energy, Mom has some ‘tricks’ she uses to channel my excitement when we’re getting ready for a walk. (She promises to share them with you as they make me very happy!) My Ideal Home: *An active couple or person to love *Someone home most of the time *No other pup required – I can be an ‘only’ *Adults or a family with older children Experience level: *Have had dogs as an adult *Recent/current dog experience a plus *Rescue dog experience also a plus So if you are looking for a companion to share your life, keep you active, are patient and committed to helping me become the bestest little guy I can be, please complete our application and ask for me as I’m applying for the job! Snuggles, Cuddles and Happy Adventures. Bouncy, Blissful and Big-Hearted Benji
