📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. --------- Meet Wooyeon, (Female, approx. 3 years old) * Havanese or Maltese mix (estimated) * Weight: 11.6 kg (full-grown) *Spayed: Yes * Pregnancy History: None * Medical History: Previously treated for Babesia and heartworm. Treatment completed. *Rescue Story Wooyeon was found wandering the streets by two sisters, who brought her to a veterinary clinic. At the hospital, she was diagnosed with Babesia and heartworm. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of treatment, the original sisters left her at the hospital and could not continue her care. She was later transferred to a nearby private shelter, where she received full treatment and recovery support. Since then, she has been living at the shelter and is now healthy and ready to find her forever home. - Compatibility With Cats: She has briefly encountered cats at the veterinary hospital and showed no strong reaction. She was not particularly interested. With Other Dogs: She gets along very well with all other dogs and can be adopted into a multi-dog household. With Adults and Children: Very friendly and affectionate with both adults and children. Personality & Behavior Leash Manners: Very good on walks. Food Allergies / Diet: No known food allergies. She has mild tear staining, so allergies are suspected but have not been tested. She is not a picky eater. House Training: Prefers outdoor elimination. Separation Anxiety: None observed. Barking: No excessive barking. She may bark when excited or greeting people. Likes & Dislikes: She deeply loves people and craves human affection. Three Words to Describe Her Affectionate. Energetic. Cheerful. ----------- 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
This absolutely precious pup is Marshall and he is one year old, Havapoo (havanese/poodle mix-best guess) that came to us from a backyard breeder who no longer wanted him. We are looking for a very special home for our sweet boy. Marshall will come to you a little scared and shy so he needs a family that will work with him to overcome that. He needs patience and love. We are looking for a home with another sweet and playful dog which will definitely help Marshall come out of his shell. A home with owners that are not gone long hours during the day would be ideal along with a safe and secure backyard for him to play in. Marshall is such a wonderful dog who just needs that little extra TLC to make him feel safe and loved. He is a sweet dog who deserves the best forever home out there! Marshall is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We only adopt in So Calif as an in person meet/greet, home check and trial period are required. Please contact us at gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020

APPLY DIRECTLY WITH KARMIC RESCUE https://www.karmicrescue.org Will be sterilized April 13 and available for adoption April 18. We are accepting applications now. No out of state adoptions. 🐾 MEET DUNCAN More pictures available after the 13th Possible Breed: Javanese, Poodle, or maybe Bichon Frise Of course, he is debonair, fluffy, and energetic little guy looking for his forever family. Perfect mix of playful, intelligent, and snuggly At 4 months old, right in the middle of puppyhood—which means eager to learn, love to explore, and ready for adventures (or a long nap on your lap)! Affectionate and will offer warm snuggles, gentle wiggles, and maybe a few soft kisses in return for your love. What I Need in a Home Active Lifestyle: I am moderately energetic. Someone Home Often: I love to be with my people, so a home where I’m not alone all day would be great. Family Friendly: I get along well with kids, other dogs, and even cats, making me a perfect family pet. Grooming: I have a low-shedding, fluffy coat that requires regular brushing to keep me looking sharp. My Training Progress I’m a quick learner and very smart, thanks to my Poodle side. I am currently working on house training and crate training. I need a family who will use positive reinforcement to help me become the best ever!

Story
JENNY--Help needed JENNY is in need of sponsorship in our sponsorship program to pay for the remainder of her extensive veterinary costs. We are raising funds for all of her diagnostic procedures--Xrays, Ultrasounds, CBC, Urinalysis--for her extensive dental work, and extraction and suturing of six very bad removed teeth, and for her bladder stone removal surgery, JENNY is a Maltipoo, a Maltese/Poodle cross. Jenny is 7 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. She is a cream and white color, and she is also hypoallergenic! JENNY is very intelligent and inquisitive. She is housetrained, sweet, gentle, playful, loving, affectionate, a lot of fun to be with, and not destructive. Dogs like JENNY also require regular ongoing grooming maintenance to prevent dangerous matts and tangles in the fur which can cause serious skin damage. To learn more about additional help we need for JENNY'S veterinary care, please contact us at: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (also our PayPal email address for sponsorships and donations).

Not good with kids, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
BANDIT, recently groomed and clipped, is a long legged Lhasa Apso/Maltipoo, who is 7 years old, 17 pounds, and has been an only dog with the same family (who could not keep him), since puppyhood. Bandit does bite people. His main flaw is that he is overly loyal and protective, and will take a bite out of a stranger's foot or ankle if they suddenly come too close. Lhasas are a very ancient breed and were fierce little sentinel and guard dogs for the Dalai Llama and Buddhist monasteries in Tibet. The 14th Dalai Llama sent them as gifts to the West, and they have been a favorite ever since. Bandit is neutered and vaccinated and we are searching for an understanding and patient new home where he can be the dedicated guardian he was meant to be. To learn more about Bandit, please contact: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (also our PayPal donation and sponsorship email)
