Hi, my name is Riley! I am less than 3 years young and still show off some puppy traits. I love playing 'tug-tug' with my four year old human foster-buddy. I get really vocal when I play. I know how to be gentle while playing, I go to great lengths to avoid landing on, biting, or scratching my foster-buddy. I like playing with him, but I REALLY enjoy playing with bigger humans more. With my foster family I haven't been able to play with other dogs. While on walks, I LOVE walks, I do encounter a number of other dogs and I usually come across pretty assertive, so I stay on-leash. Walking 1-2 miles per day helps keep me happy. I sometimes like a good speed walk and other times enjoy smelling the roses. I like to sleep on beds and give kisses. I also enjoy sitting on laps a lot! It took me a bit to get used to my foster-family's back yard, so it might take me a bit to get used to yours. I take baths well, but nail trimming… I do not like nail trimming… I bonded with my foster mom quickly, but get a little nervous sometimes when her big kids get me ready for a walk. I learned who lived in my foster house quickly. The more time you can spend with me, the happier I am!

We are raising funds for all of her diagnostic procedures--Xrays, Ultrasounds, CBC, Urinalysis--for her extensive dental work, and extraction and suturing of six very bad removed teeth, and for her bladder stone removal surgery, JENNY is a Maltipoo, a Maltese/Poodle cross. Jenny is 7 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. She is a cream and white color, and she is also hypoallergenic! JENNY is very intelligent and inquisitive. She is housetrained, sweet, gentle, playful, loving, affectionate, a lot of fun to be with, and not destructive. Dogs like JENNY also require regular ongoing grooming maintenance to prevent dangerous matts and tangles in the fur which can cause serious skin damage. BANDIT, recently groomed and clipped, is a long legged Lhasa Apso/Maltipoo, who is 7 years old, 17 pounds, and has been an only dog with the same family (who could not keep him), since puppyhood. Bandit does bite people. His main flaw is that he is overly loyal and protective, and will take a bite out of a stranger's foot or ankle if they suddenly come too close. Lhasas are a very ancient breed and were fierce little sentinel and guard dogs for the Dalai Llama and Buddhist monasteries in Tibet. The 14th Dalai Llama sent them as gifts to the West, and they have been a favorite ever since. Bandit is neutered and vaccinated and we are searching for an understanding and patient new home where he can be the dedicated guardian he was meant to be. ***Courtesy post - contact Rachel 818-378-8995*** Lucy (11 yo American Eskimo) and Ricky (2 yo Lhasa/Terrier mix) were abandoned in a field together all alone before being picked up by animal control. They were then rescued but shortly thereafter the group who pulled them from the shelter closed their doors so they were abandoned once more. Ricky and Lucy have had a very rough life so far and just want to be in a forever home together. Ricky is spunky, sweet and has a sense of adventure. Lucy is blind and a bit fearful but once she knows she’s safe, she’ll be grateful with kisses. They have been waiting for their happily ever together.
