Story
Meet Bubba! Bubba is a 5 year old, neutered male. This cat has big cheeks; his favorite thing is when you scritch under them by his neck. He has very good manners, and will always give you a "hello" sniff when you say hi, and will gently rub up against your hand as you meet him. He is a little nervous when he leaves his own space, so make sure he has a bed all to himself to relax in when you take him home. He is great with new people, and will personally greet each guest (as is befitting someone as distinguished as he is). Bubba first came to CHA as a stray in November of last year, but was adopted and returned for not getting along with the other animals in the home. Bubba would do best in a home with no other cats as he does get territorial. He is a sweet boy that really wants to find his people! They might just have to teach him a few manners! To meet Bubba in person please stop by the shelter on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday during our normal business hours. Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday doesn't work for you? To meet the animals any day of the week, please fill out an adoption application. Once your application is approved, we would be happy to make an appointment outside our normal business hours/days. Story
Kiki is an 8 year old, spayed and declawed female. Kiki is an older lady that just came back from foster. She would do best being the only cat in the home as she insists on being the queen bee! She would do best with no kids younger than 12 years old. A quiet environment is what this lady needs! She wants to be the queen of her castle! Kiki would love to go home to someone that would be willing to help maintain dietary needs as well as exercise. Apply for adoption today! Story
Meet Gibbons! Gibbons is a 4 month old male with UTD vaccinations. Gibbons' namesake is a man who rescued him from a tree after a storm. Gibbons is a little nervous around new people, but he loves to sniff your shoes and other belongings while your not looking. Don't worry if he doesn't warm up to you right away, he just needs some time to get used to you. Gibbons came to CHA as a stray with no mother or litter after being rescued from a tree! He was brought down and saved by Arborist Gibbons, whom he is proudly named after. Gibbons is currently being housed with Sandman and Gomer Pyle. When Gibbons first came in, he was covered in tree sap and absolutely terrified of people. Now that he has had a chance to warm up, he is happily up for adoption. Gibbons may come off as timid and fearful but as long as you slow, he will be purring in no time!
