Story
Hi, my name is Flower. When I came to the shelter back in 2019, I was very angry and not adoptable at that time.Great news: After being in my foster home I am doing so much better!I am an older cat with very specific needs.Because I am declawed, I need to be indoor only.I prefer woman over men and need to be the only pet.If you like to meet, please reach out to my foster mom who knows me inside and out!I am in foster care learn to become the best cat I can be. My foster parent says that when I first came to their home my attitude was, If I had claws, I would rip your face off. With a lot of love, time and patients that attitude has changed. And after two years I am starting my search for my permanent home. I would like a home with one adult female only. And someone that does not get a lot visitors. I do have very specific needs. I do not like men or boys.No loud noises. This includes voices, tv, dishes, fireworks, cars, AC units. I do not like children. Even if they are quiet. No quick movementsI need a place where I can hide. I will usually pick a place that is dark and secluded. I do not communicate the same way other cats do. I will normally hiss instead of meow. I will run to my hiding place every time I see you. I need a lot of time to get you. I do not have claws and still do not trust. I must be an indoor cat. If I get out, you will not be able to catch me. No dogs.No kittens. Adults cat are OK if they respect my space.I will run from you for no reason at all. I do not trust people yet. No eye contact. I will run. No closed doors. Please keep in mind it took four years to get to this point. .. I will rub on my female foster parent. I will sleep on her bed. I will come up for pets. I will lay on her. But only after she puts me there. I will on rare occasions let the male foster parent touch me. I do like the laser lights Even though I do not have claws. I still need a scratching post.

Story
Hello there, My name is Torta.I`m currently in a foster home. This is what my current foster parents have to say about me:Hi, my name is Torta!I was living at a foster home with my brother Spatlo since we were both scared of humans, but we eventually learned how nice humans can be! Both me and my sibling are high energy kitties who love chasing each other and playing with toys (especially wands!). We are also highly food motivated and have been caught multiple times biting through food bags! At our foster home we did a good job of coexisting with the senior cats, outside of stealing their food at times!Of the two of us, I`m the more courageous and cleverer kitty,I`m easy to handle and pick up! When I first met the older cats, my foster dad would often have to hold me back to ensure I didn`t scare them. I also have a reputation as a troublemaker as I`m the one who finds food bags and starts breaking into them! But I`m also a purry kitty who loves head scritches and lying on a warm lap! When our foster dad was using his standing desk, we would often grab onto his leg as we wanted him to sit down with us!We would probably like a quieter home as we still are shy around most people and new situations. I would like to be adopted with my brother Spatlo so we can continue to play and snuggle together!

Hello there, My name is Spatlo and I`m currently in a Foster home.If you`re looking for a little bit of information about me, this is what my foster parents have to say:WEB MEMO:Hi, my name is Spatlo!I was living at a foster home with my sister Torta since we were both scared of humans, but we eventually learned how nice humans can be! Both me and my sibling are high energy kitties who love chasing each other and playing with toys (especially wands!). We are also highly food motivated and have been caught multiple times biting through food bags! At our foster home we did a good job of coexisting with the senior cats, outside of stealing their food at times!Of the two of us, I`m shyer and more sensitive. I may back away if directly petted, but you can often find me snuggling with your leg when you aren`t looking! And oftentimes when faced with a new situation, I wait for my sister to show it`s okay before I join in too. I can be very affectionate when it`s on my own terms, and I like to meow when I want attention. I also have an inquisitive curiosity as I love to find tiny bugs to watch! When our foster dad was using his standing desk, we would often grab onto his leg as we wanted him to sit down with us! I`m also known to give love-bites and play a bit rough with hands, but I mean well and will stop if you give me a lil `owie!`.We would probably like a quieter home as we still are shy around most people and new situations.
