Story
Mushu`s Foster: `Mushu is a super-sweet little girl who had a rough start to life.An HHS foster mom woke up one Sunday morning to find 8 kittens dumped on her doorstep. 2 weeks old, cold and crying. They didn`t want to bottle feed. The foster mom had an idea of who the owner might be, and with HHS approval, an agreement was made that the mom could return to her family once she had weaned her kittens. The hungry kittens were soon nursing.A call went out on Sunday morning for fosters. Yet another foster mom had a lactating cat who had lost 2 kittens, so 2 of these kittens went there. The other six went to a foster to be nursed by their mom, who was only about 7 months old! She was named Belle, because she was a teen mom and deserved to be a Disney princess. The other kittens were named after tiny Disney characters: Gus, Jaq, Flit, Chip, Mushu and Roo.HHS was good to their word and once Belle had weaned her kittens, she was given all her vaccs, spayed and returned to her original family.`

Boo, while she is a beautiful grey tabby, would be happier as an indoor/outdoor cat. She is one of our Barn Cats in the colony room here at HHS.
