This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $50 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. We are introducing the gorgeous, the greatest, the magical: Aurora Jane! This fanciful 6 month-old fur-friend is a Domestic Short-hair mix with a stunning tortoiseshell coat! She is a very confident kitten who enjoys games of hide-and-seek with her siblings, and is the very best at seeking! Aurora Jane is fond of her bell ball toys and likes to chase them in circles for her daily exercise. She also uses her scratch post daily and says this is a requirement for her new home. We expect she will adjust to most any home environment as long as she is inside and kept socialized and cuddled. This gal is going to make the very best addition to your heart, won't you apply to bring her home today? * $175 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. November 3, 2024, 6:49 pm

Story
"OK, hoomans, here's the deal. I lost my digs when my hooman moved into assisted living. I've tried my best to live with this other hooman, but she has FOUR other cats, and, well, they annoy me because they are young and noisy; and I am an old lady. I lived with my other hooman as the only cat. I was pampered and had full reign of my kingdom. Honestly, it was great. Now I've been at these new digs for over a year. I just don't like these other cats. I need a quiet environment with no other animals or noisy kids to live out my last days in peace. I don't like change. And I'm not gonna lie--it will be really hard for me to adjust again. I need a patient hooman who will earn my trust slowly. I don't like being handled. I just want a sun spot and a soft bed and some peace and quiet. It took months before I let the other hooman touch me. I might seem aggressive, but honestly I'm just afraid. Do you have a pet-free, child-free home where I can crash out my last years? Thanks!"
