Story
Meet the enchanting Tia, a feline heroine who rescued her siblings abandoned in the woods as kittens. Though they began as feral cats, Tia's gradual transformation has made her increasingly sociable, adapting seamlessly to indoor living. Initially timid, she has overcome her shyness, now embracing human contact, relishing petting, love, and attention, particularly during mealtime. Tia's gentle nature extends to her compatibility with both cats and dogs. While she may initially shy away from unfamiliar canines, a result of a past encounter with a husky, she generally tolerates them well after gaining trust. Though she prefers solitude and rest over constant companionship, Tia is reliably present when it's time to eat. Spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and equipped with a microchip, Tia is poised to join a family that welcomes her as a cherished member without expecting her to be a lap cat. She takes delight in her cat tower and high shelves, demonstrating the typical feline love for elevated spaces. Tia eagerly awaits the opportunity to find her forever home, offering her a unique blend of independence and affection.

Story
Meet the lovely Lulu, a domestic short-haired grey and white female born in January 2017. Lulu is exceptionally friendly and a true people cat. She thrives on human interaction, especially when addressed by her name. While she prefers consistency in feeding time and food choices, she can adapt to changes over time. This charming feline enjoys engaging in conversation and will greet you with enthusiasm. Lulu expresses herself when it's mealtime or if she desires to go outside. She adores being brushed and revels in cuddles, showcasing her affectionate nature. Not one to engage in conflicts, Lulu gets along well with other cats. She has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccines, and is ready for her next chapter. Lulu, along with her brother Popeye, was surrendered by their owner due to relocation to another country. Despite the circumstances, their previous owner wanted them to find a loving home that appreciates them just as she did. If you are interested in making Lulu a part of your family, please visit our website at https://serendipityanimalrescue.org for an application.

Story
Mary and Mini’s Personalities Mary and Mini are adorable dilute tortoiseshells with light grey and peach colored coats. They are very sweet and don't showcase any of those sassy "torti" traits. These girls love playing, chasing and wrestling with each other, and being petted by their foster parents. Both girls have been "caught" spinning in circles, chasing their own tails. They sleep curled up together, are perfectly matched, and must be adopted together. MARY is a beautiful girl with a peach tipped tail that helps you distinguish her from her sister. She is everything that a kitten should be - beautiful, silly, playful, curious, sweet and playful. Mary is a friendly, confident girl who adapts quickly to new people and places. She loves to romp and wrestle with her sister and toss toy mice around. Mary greets you with an happy upward tail, and purrs when you pet her. She is always up for kitten shenanigans and won’t turn down an opportunity to chase a feather on a stick. When she is tuckered out from playing, Mary loves to curl up next to you or snuggle with her sister. MINI has a lighter face than her sister with a cute peach streak from her forehead down to her nose. She is the more mischievous of the two sisters, but it takes a little time for Mini's true personality to come out. Mini is initially quite shy in new environments, and looks to Mary to show her that new things and new people are ok. Happily, after a few weeks in their foster home, Mini went from being in Mary's shadow to taking the lead herself. Now Mini is usually the one taking charge when it comes to play sessions, grooming each other, and sitting in their foster mom's lap. Mini is also the more chatty of the two sisters. She has opinions on many things and isn't shy in telling everyone what she thinks! Type of Home They Need Mary and Mini need a quieter home with experienced cat caretakers who give them plenty of nurturing as they grow up. A home with an adult couple would be ideal although an older cat-savvy child would be ok (about 12 yrs or older). No very young children or dogs now or in the future. Where They Came From These girls were rescued as young kittens, along with their mom cat and two brothers, from someone’s home where they weren’t being adequately cared for.PLEASE NOTE:  we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA. Story
Sassy and Raven's Personalities These sisters are sweet, friendly, and well-adjusted kittens. They are curious and moderately playful, and amazingly well-behaved! Their foster mom has trained them to use scratching posts made of sisal and cardboard. They are snugglers and love to cuddle with their foster mom. Sassy and Raven are bonded and must be adopted together. SASSY (black and orange tortoiseshell) is the happiest girl and bolder than her sister, Raven. She greets you with trills and meows and loves, loves, loves belly rubs. She literally throws herself on the ground, rolling over and begging you to rub her belly. Sassy loves to play with her sister, Raven, and makes the cutest trilling sounds when playing with her toys and tearing through paper packaging and cardboard boxes. She likes to carry plush toys around in her mouth, growling to warn you to stay away from her prey. Sassy is so adorable and always ready to play. RAVEN (black) is the smallest in the litter. "Little Raven" is very curious and loves to try new things first. This sweet girl will be shy initially with new people, but once she gets to know you, she will be your loving companion. Raven is very playful and likes to steal the resident cat's purple bat toy to drag around - even though the toy is half her size! Raven does this despite the fact that the resident kitty is very spicy and likes to command her little kingdom. Raven also loves to be picked up and held for cuddles and has the sweetest personality and meow. What Type of Home They Need Sassy and Raven need a quieter home where Raven will be given a little time to adapt. They will do fine with a single person or a couple. A family with an older child (about 12 years or older) would be fine as long as the child has experience with cats and understands that Raven will be shy initially. They have learned to respect the spirited adult cat in their foster home and steer clear of her when she wants to be left alone! Where They Came From These girls were rescued from outdoors when they were young kittens, along with their two brothers, Wesley and Wrangler (adopted). They adapted quickly to living indoors and are happy, well-adjusted kittens.PLEASE NOTE:  we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA.
