Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.FULL OF ENERGY!Tommy Tippy Toes was born 5/10/2012.  He appears to be a Havana/Siamese Mix.  He has long legs, long body, and a Havana Face.  His personality is absolutely hilarious!  We also call him 'Surprised Cat' because the look in his eyes seems to always be of 'surprise'!  This boy has two speeds.  He is either so full on energy or plain layed out!  He loves to climb, drink out of the faucet and play with the 'ball in the round' toy. Our vets think he looks egyptian/oriental but from what we have researched he really looks like the Havana Brown.  Not all Havana Brown's are brown, some are black.  He has the same structural build as the Havana Brown with the long, thick legs, long body, and long face with large green eyes.  He is special needs and requires Allergy Antigen Injections every 21 days due to severe allergies.  He must also be kept in a clean dust free environment. Tommy Tippy Toes also has attitude and is only okay in your lap when he wants to jump into it.  If you try and force him - you will get bitten. *Thank you Galye R. for sponsoring Tommy Tippy Toes while he waits to be adopted.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2026, 7:32 pm

Story
Meet Bootzie! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Bootzie is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Bootzie is a handsome boy with truly stunning markings that make him stand out wherever he goes. Once a feral kitty, Bootzie has been making incredible progress and is learning to rust more every day. He now allows gentle handling-he can be picked up and enjoys soft pets from someone he knows. Bootzie is an independent little entertainer who's perfectly happy making his own fun. One of his favorite games? Knocking pecans off the table one by one until they hit the floor-then chasing and batting them around like his own personal toys. It's as adorable as it sounds. Because of his background, Bootzie will need a patient and understanding home willing to continue helping him build confidence and feel safe. He may be shy at first, but with time and consistency, his sweet side really shines through. If you're looking for a unique, playful companion and have the patience to help him fully blossom, Bootzie just might be your guy. Bootzie is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! He's never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think he could learn to love a new dog friend. Bootzie would do best in a quieter home without young children, where his boundaries can be respected and his progress can continue at his own pace. Bootzie's foster sibling is Ace (FIV+) (M) --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
