Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.FULL OF ENERGY!Tommy Tippy Toes was born 5/10/2012.  He appears to be a Havana/Siamese Mix.  He has long legs, long body, and a Havana Face.  His personality is absolutely hilarious!  We also call him "Surprised Cat" because the look in his eyes seems to always be of "surprise"!  This boy has two speeds.  He is either so full on energy or plain layed out!  He loves to climb, drink out of the faucet and play with the "ball in the round" toy. Our vets think he looks egyptian/oriental but from what we have researched he really looks like the Havana Brown.  Not all Havana Brown's are brown, some are black.  He has the same structural build as the Havana Brown with the long, thick legs, long body, and long face with large green eyes.  He is special needs and requires Allergy Antigen Injections every 21 days due to severe allergies.  He must also be kept in a clean dust free environment. Tommy Tippy Toes also has attitude and is only okay in your lap when he wants to jump into it.  If you try and force him - you will get bitten. *Thank you Galye R. for sponsoring Tommy Tippy Toes while he waits to be adopted. Story
Marjorie was brought to GIHS by one of our very own volunteers, who found her begging for food on the streets. Two days later, Marjorie gave birth to four beautiful kittens right in her kennel. Since having her babies, Marjorie has been living in a foster home where she declared her love language to be Quality Time, and not Physical Touch. While she likes gentle head pets, she much prefers to sit next to you on the couch rather be in your lap. Marjorie also prefers to have all four paws on the ground - she's not one to enjoy being held. Though Marjorie is timid around strangers, she is the loveliest little companion once you earn her trust. She is very playful and loves all sorts of toys - wands, stuffed mice, plastic springs, everything! She gets along with other playful kitties and would love a home with a friend (perhaps her foster sister, Gemma). Underneath her initial nervousness, Marjorie is just a sweetheart looking for a calm, low-energy home. Could you be her person?

Story
I'm Tia! I came to GIHS with my babies in tow. Now, I am ready for a home of my own! I am very sweet and independent. I love to explore and I'm very curious about new places, people, and smells. I get along with other cats but like my own space and time with my human friends. I enjoy rough play and would be best in a home without other female cats.

Story
Meet Talitha, or Tilly as her foster mom calls her! Talitha just might be the cutest and sweetest kitten in all of Galveston. She adores attention in all forms - pets, scritches, and even belly rubs! The moment you sit down, Tilly will be in your lap, purring and making kitty biscuits. When she's not demanding your attention, she can usually be found napping in laundry hampers or toy baskets around the house. She definitely has a playful side, so be prepared for shenanigans aplenty. If you are looking for a affection cat that you can pamper with Princess Treatment, Talitha is the girl for you! Tilly was found at Schlitterbahn when she was only a couple days old. She was bottle fed and raised in a foster home, so she is already familiar with a home environment. She gets along great with other cats and would love to have a kitty friend in her forever home. For more information, feel free to reach out to her foster mom on Instagram @knittinkittenfoster.
