Story
She's big, she's bold, she's beautiful, she may be the cat you've been searching for all along... She's Andi! This black and white kitty isn't afraid to tell people how and what she's feeling. She's upfront with that! She'll let you know when she wants attention and when she wants alone time. It's okay, Andi. We appreciate the honesty! Andi is a couch potato and is very accepting to share couch time with someone. She likes to sit on the couch with people, right beside them. Sometimes even on them! She's a lap cat for sure. Her favorite toy to play with seems to be fun pom pom balls that she can bat and chase around the room. We think Andi would do best in a home without young children (5 and under). She prefers her solidarity away from other cats. She has not been around dogs before. Come by the Humane Society to meet Andi!

Story
Meet Cruz! He's ready to calmly cruise right into the loving arms of his new family. Cruz and his friend, who has since been adopted, were sadly left behind in their home by their owners. They were taken care of by someone else for a short time before being brought to the shelter together. They definitely deserve to find a new and better home after that! Still shy, we haven't seen what Cruz's full personality is. He spends most of his time sleeping in a little cubby in the Tranquility room. Sometimes he may be snuggled up with another cat, Noodle, but other times he's sleeping by himself. What we do know is that Cruz is a big, sweet softie. You'll have to approach him first so you can pet him, but he'll lean into your touch quick once you start giving him attention. We're sure that after a bit more time, Cruz will come out of his shell and show us more aspects of his personality. His previous caretaker noted that he was afraid of their dog. No dogs for Cruz, please! Being adopted into a home with other cats would be okay, though. Come by the Humane Society to meet Cruz!

Story
This handsome brown and striped cat is named Squidward. He seems like a grumpy pants, but he's actually a sweet and affectionate guy. He just needs a bit of time to warm up to people before he accepts them as a friend. Treats and catnip are his kryptonite (as well as head scratches of course). They melt his grumpy exterior to show his adorable and playful interior. Squidward will trot up to people now and asks for attention with a long, drawn-out meow. He's a bit of a talker! He expects a head pat in return as an answer to his meow. Squidward appreciates his space away from the other cats in the room that he's in, but we think he's slowly warming up to them...Or at least he's becoming a little more tolerable to the younger cats when they try to play with him! Being adopted into a home with experienced cat-owners that don't have young children would be best for Squidward. Come by the Humane Society to meet Squidward.
