Carp and Marlin’s adoption fee has been sponsored by Stevie Peterson, she is practically a family member of the rescue. We made the decision to lower our adoption fees for a “Home for the Holidays” special. We wanted to see as many of our animals in their new furrever home with their family, and out of foster care. A few of our supporters came forward and sponsored as many kitties as they could! Stevie is so happy to see any animal she meets, and works every day with many animals who have social issues. She has a special ability to make them as comfortable as they could be and they all adore her. Even in her home life, Stevie cares for animals many people wouldn’t be able to, and does it effortlessly. Never thought you wanted bed bugs? Trust us on this one and let these babies come take over your home! Carp and Marlin (7.5 months) came to the rescue after being dumped outside as one month old kittens. They were very sick to the point they couldn’t open their eyes. A very nice person snagged their whole litter up and brought them home and got them on medication. Since these girls were babies, they’ve been absolute love bugs. They love to run right up to you and rub all over you. The absolute most special thing about both of these girls is they wag their tails like dogs when they’re happy or playing. It’s ridiculously precious. While they wag their tails they squint their eyes and start to roll on their sides to invite you in for some pets. Both Marlin and Carp will follow you all around the house. They also love to climb cat trees to the tippy top and take naps together. Marlin and Carp will fall asleep with you every night and greet you when you wake up every morning. Both girls love to snuggle on the couch while you settle down and watch tv! Every time you sit on the couch or go to bed, they're sure to be right there with you. Carp and Marlin have been socialized with cats, rabbits, and dogs. We think they’d do well in an assortment of homes but super young kids might be a lot for them. Both Carp and Marlin have received full vet work ups and are ready to go to their new forever home! Ashley is known to be such a gentle and avid animal lover. She helps any animal she can and only wants to see them thrive. Her gentle nature brings so much comfort to animals. When she initially met Tuna he was such a shy little man, but she made him feel as comfortable as possible and he immediately came out of his shell with her. She truly is a shining light in the animal community. This holiday season don't miss out on the ultimate deal — two stunning, sleek black cats who are ready to be your next furry best friends! Meet Tuna and Roe – two playful, sweet black kittens ready to become your new best friends! Rescued from a tree with their siblings, these bonded siblings bring endless joy and energy to any home. Tuna (male): Independent, with a charming white chest spot and a relaxed vibe. Roe (female): Playful and affectionate, with a cute “Mew-Mew” meow and a spunky side. Together, they love to chase, climb, and cuddle. They’re still kitten-sized bundles of energy, so a cat tree or fun furniture is a must! Tuna is more outgoing, while Roe takes time to warm up to new faces but is full of spunk once she does. Both adore each other, their foster parents, and even get along with other pets!
