Meet Hugo — 4 years old, professionally suspicious, and absolutely not here to impress you. Hugo is the kind of cat who acts like he filed a formal complaint when you walked into the room. He doesn’t do dramatic cuddles, doesn’t believe in “personal space” as a human right, and may glare at you for offering affection too quickly. But underneath that grumpy little exterior is a cat who desperately wants a quiet home where he can finally relax and be himself. Hugo is what we lovingly call a “reluctant cat.” He’s cautious. Reserved. The feline equivalent of someone standing awkwardly at a party holding a paper plate. He may never be the cat who greets guests at the door wearing a bow tie — but give him patience, consistency, and a soft place to nap, and he’ll slowly let you into his tiny, guarded heart. And when he does? It matters. Hugo is 4 years old, past the wild kitten phase, and looking for someone who understands that love doesn’t always arrive loudly. Sometimes it arrives quietly, sitting three feet away from you on the couch for the first time. If you believe the best relationships are earned, Hugo might just be your perfect match.

Very loving, cuddly, and chill cat. Initially shy and takes a minute to warm up to other people but not at all aggressive. I just can no longer care for her due to multiple changes in my life. Hasn’t been around other pets or children so I’m not sure how she would do, but has lived only indoors as the only pet for the last 7 years.

Pumpkin spice is 2 1/2 years old. She has always lived with an older cat. Her owner has developed health concerns making her unable to consistently care for her.
