Story
Meet the enchanting Tia, a feline heroine who rescued her siblings abandoned in the woods as kittens. Though they began as feral cats, Tia's gradual transformation has made her increasingly sociable, adapting seamlessly to indoor living. Initially timid, she has overcome her shyness, now embracing human contact, relishing petting, love, and attention, particularly during mealtime. Tia's gentle nature extends to her compatibility with both cats and dogs. While she may initially shy away from unfamiliar canines, a result of a past encounter with a husky, she generally tolerates them well after gaining trust. Though she prefers solitude and rest over constant companionship, Tia is reliably present when it's time to eat. Spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and equipped with a microchip, Tia is poised to join a family that welcomes her as a cherished member without expecting her to be a lap cat. She takes delight in her cat tower and high shelves, demonstrating the typical feline love for elevated spaces. Tia eagerly awaits the opportunity to find her forever home, offering her a unique blend of independence and affection.

Story
Meet the lovely Lulu, a domestic short-haired grey and white female born in January 2017. Lulu is exceptionally friendly and a true people cat. She thrives on human interaction, especially when addressed by her name. While she prefers consistency in feeding time and food choices, she can adapt to changes over time. This charming feline enjoys engaging in conversation and will greet you with enthusiasm. Lulu expresses herself when it's mealtime or if she desires to go outside. She adores being brushed and revels in cuddles, showcasing her affectionate nature. Not one to engage in conflicts, Lulu gets along well with other cats. She has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccines, and is ready for her next chapter. Lulu, along with her brother Popeye, was surrendered by their owner due to relocation to another country. Despite the circumstances, their previous owner wanted them to find a loving home that appreciates them just as she did. If you are interested in making Lulu a part of your family, please visit our website at https://serendipityanimalrescue.org for an application.

Story
Katus is looking for his forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Katus is an approximately one-year-old male who came to the U.S. all the way from Kuwait, and he carries both beauty and depth in equal measure. With his incredibly striking markings—hinting at the slightest touch of Bengal—and his perpetual doe-eyed expression, Katus has a face you won’t soon forget. He is a shy, sensitive boy who takes his time adjusting to new people and surroundings. Katus is very much a cat person’s cat—the kind who doesn’t give his heart away easily. But once you earn his trust, it feels like winning the lottery. He shows his affection by gently bopping his head into your hand, asking for more pets, and he absolutely goes bananas for freeze-dried treats. Katus isn’t particularly playful just yet, but that’s likely because he needs time to feel safe and settled. Patience is key with this sweet boy, and the reward is a quiet, meaningful bond that grows deeper with time. He arrived from Kuwait alongside another cat, Lolo (also available for adoption). While they are friendly with one another, they are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together. Because of his timid nature, Katus would thrive in a calm, low-traffic, adult-only home with someone who truly understands that the best things in life—and in rescue—come to those who wait. If you’re the kind of person who values trust, quiet affection, and the joy of watching a shy cat slowly blossom, Katus may be your perfect match. Story
6 years old Personality: calm, friendly, independent, talkative Meet Van Gogh! He is a very special cat, who has been through some rough times. His battle scars are a badge of honor and give him a rugged, one-of-a-kind handsomeness. In fact his favorite spot for gentle scratches is his gnarly left ear - pure bliss. Despite his obstacles, he's a spectacular cat! You could not wish for a better companion. He is calm and sociable. The trait that sets him apart from other cats is the fact he treats you like a member of the family. Van Gogh will greet you at the door when you arrive home, follow you up and down the stairs like a quiet shadow, and walk you to bed each night to lovingly “tuck you in" with a cozy snuggle before politely heading off to his own adventures. When you are relaxing he will perch himself comfortably behind your head on the couch, happily protecting you. He loves mealtime, but most of all he will love you! He is the perfect companion to fill your days with quiet love and steady companionship.
