Meet Rod! He may look rough on the outside, but he's sweet as pie inside. He loves his wet food and all the pets he can get! Rod has tested positive for feline leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter lifespan. BAHS waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides some support post-adoption. Rod can only live with other FeLV positive cats, but dogs and other animals are absolutely fine!
