Story
Dog sociability: She has not met any, but we think she could get along with dogs with the right introduction. Cat sociability: Yes, she came/has been with two other fosters. She can be a bit of a food bully, so we think she'd do best with another cat who isn't a pushover. She loves to chase and wrestle, and another rambunctious cat would make her happy! Kid sociability: Likely after proper introduction. She has not met any, but she could probably deal with kids. Likes: A nice sunny window, wand toys, wrestling with her friends, the sound of a can of food opening, fluffy blankets Dislikes: pat, The Roomba, car rides Bio: Don't let Regina's petite stature fool you, this girl is a confident queen bee and loves to run the show. She is quick to alert you when her food dish is not full, loves to explore, and will demand pets if you're not giving them freely. She loves spending her day in a sunny window, chasing her sisters, and curling up against your leg. Regina is sweet as can be to her humans, but can be a bit bossy toward meeker cats. She would do well with another younger cat friend who has plenty of energy for zoomies and can share the spotlight with her. She takes pride in her appearance, bathing meticulously and having wonderful litter box habits. Regina has the "Puss in Boots" eyes perfected, so prepare to fall for this smart girlie! The adoption fee is $100. All cats are up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Story
"I love that when I go into adoptable Jet's room with a book she hurries over to settle in on my lap while I read. She would literally make the perfect cat for someone looking for companionship. Jet continues to be the perfect cat. She also says that lazy day snuggs are her favorite...possibly 'cause she knows they are my favorite too. The best thing about Jet is her intuition. She always knows exactly what I need and how to make me feel better Sidenote: If my house had less animals, I'd definitely keep her, no question. She has probably been my favorite foster cat and I've had about 70 foster cats over the past two years. -Adoptable Jet's foster mom. Jet's been doing great with her dog foster-sibling. She would do best as the only kitty and is a true treasure. Jet is about six and a half years old and is spayed. Call us at 219-872-4499 to adopt Jet

Story
Hi MHS friends, my name is Libby. My human friends here tell me that I am the prettiest dilute calico in the whole wide world! They also tell me that I have every single characteristic that would make me someone's very best friend. And one more thing that they tell me is that my adoption fee is sponsored to an approved applicant! Okay, now onto some more fun things... I love Churu snackies. I am the daintiest girl and I am very polite when you are giving me treats. I love naptime on my cozy kitty bed. If I get to curl inside my hut, I feel so safe and have the best nap ever. But when you come to visit me, I like to come to say hello to you! I'll chirp a little bit in hopes that you understand I am asking for affection and back rubs. My ideal home would be a quiet one. If you are an equally quiet person, we would be perfect for each other. We could enjoy the calmness and be the object of each other's affection. At the shelter, I am kind of reserved when there are lots of people around. When the room empties, I love to hop out of my kennel and explore! I really enjoy being out and about with just one or two people around. I love catnip. I also love soft, fluffy kitty beds. When you come to spend time with me, I would like to get to know you, then once we are friends, I will ask for chin scratches and your company. Please come to meet me. I would come to meet you, but that just isn't how it works here! I am about nine and a half years old and I'm spayed. Love, Libby.

Story
If you have ever heard of all the amazing reasons to adopt a senior cat, Cannoli is basically every one of those reasons. She is currently in a foster home, so please call us at 219-872-4499 if you'd like to adopt her. But take a quick minute to read about her first! She is about eleven years old, so she has had eleven years of learning how to be the best girl and someone's best friend. Cannoli is relaxed and is quite low-maintenance. At this point, there aren't many questions as to what her personality is like -- she is very loving, gentle, and has that typical "goodness" that senior pets tend to have. What we love most about Cannoli is how she always finds the coziest places to curl up in for a nap. If there is a plush kitty bed, Cannoli will find it. She knows the importance of a good afternoon nap! She has just recently met her kitty foster-siblings and, so far, is doing well with them! We'll give her a bit of time to adjust and then will let you know but as of now if your resident cats are gentle and welcoming, Cannoli may do well with a proper introduction. Cannoli is spayed and is waiting for you.
