He is fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, defleaed. He tested negative for FeLV. Hershey is FIV+ FIV was once a terrifying diagnosis, and many shelters used to euthanize cats who tested positive for the virus. However, much new research indicates that cats with FIV can actually live a relatively normal, full life. The general consensus in the animal medical community is that FIV+ and non-FIV cats can live together as long as everyone is spayed or neutered, remains indoors and interacts peacefully. Aela is the cutest, sweetest, spunkiest girl! We adopted her about 3 years ago as a rescue kitten. We are heartbroken that our lives (and traveling) has made it less than ideal for her to stay with us. She LOVES snuggles (when she is ready to snuggle). She also likes to play fetch, especially with a bouncy ball. She can hold her own against bigger, meaner cats she isn't afraid! Aela cares about people and gets very concerned if someone gets injured, she will meow like crazy and rub all over you. She is very intelligent and you can tell her to get down from a counter or someplace and she will complain back to you, but then usually gets down. I cannot even say how much you will adore this little girl.

Lo adote de un refugio, tiene un año de edad y Chimuelo es un gatito extremadamente cariñoso y apegado a su persona favorita. Le encanta estar siempre cerca, especialmente cuando estoy sentada o acostada; busca contacto físico y disfruta tocar con su patita, aunque sea solo para sentirse acompañado. Es muy amoroso, le gusta dormir pegadito y sentirse protegido. Es juguetón, curioso y un poco travieso — siempre quiere estar donde está la acción y participar en todo. No es agresivo; si no quiere que lo carguen, simplemente intentará soltarse sin morder ni lastimar. Tiene una personalidad muy expresiva, incluso “responde” cuando lo regaño, como si estuviera conversando conmigo. Es un gato muy dulce, sociable y lleno de amor para dar. Ideal para alguien que quiera un compañero fiel y muy afectuoso.
