If you’re looking for a lap cat, Hershey is your snuggly buddy who loves nothing more than curling up on your lap or getting cozy for a long, loving snuggle session. He’s also a pro biscuit maker, kneading soft blankies with joy while purring contentedly. Favorite Things (In No Particular Order!): Cuddling & being picked up Making biscuits in soft, cozy blankies Sunbathing by the window (those warm rays are his favorite!) Catnip toys (He goes crazy for them!) Churu treats (they’re his absolute weakness!) Wet food (Hershey is a foodie and will appreciate a delicious meal) Attention, affection, and love from his favorite humans! Hershey is estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old as of March 2025. He is fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, defleaed. He tested negative for FeLV. Hershey is FIV+ FIV was once a terrifying diagnosis, and many shelters used to euthanize cats who tested positive for the virus. However, much new research indicates that cats with FIV can actually live a relatively normal, full life. The general consensus in the animal medical community is that FIV+ and non-FIV cats can live together as long as everyone is spayed or neutered, remains indoors and interacts peacefully. Savannah is a sweetheart with a delightful and loving personality! She likes playing with her toys, climbing the cat tower and chasing after strings and feathers. Once she is done with playtime, you will find her settling down for a cozy nap in her cat bed. Before Savannah trails off into sweet dreams, her favorite thing in the world is gentle massages of her tiny paws as well as soft strokes on her head. With her affectionate nature and whimsical spirit, Savannah is the perfect mixture of sugar and spice ready to fill your home with warmth, laughter and purrs. All of our adorable Coco's kitties are spayed or neutered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV combo tested, up-to-date on shots and have received dewormer and flea treatment. All they need now is a FOREVER home. Adoption & Application Procedures: To welcome a new kitty to your furry family, we summarized our Coco’s application procedure below: Complete our online application at: http://www.cocoscupboardinc.org/Cat-Adoption-Application.php. Our kitty team will review your application and will reach out to you shortly. Please be patient as we are 100% volunteer based. To ensure a smooth application process, please answer all questions in full with as much detail as possible to avoid delays in your application review. Please note that we adopt our Coco's kitties to families that reside within a 60 mile radius of Peachtree City, GA. Very young kittens must be adopted in pairs or have a young furry playmate waiting for them at home. We will require a vet check and that all of your existing pets are up to date on shots & annual vet exams and we also may require a home check. Once your application is APPROVED, we will schedule meet and greets at Petco in Peachtree City, where we hold adoptions from 11-3pm on Saturdays. Please note that we will not let kitties go home on adoption days without an application and check of the above, so please fill out and submit your applications as quickly as possible for us to have the week to review prior to adoption day on Saturday. Not all of our kitties will be present on Petco adoption days on Saturdays but we keep our Facebook and Petfinder up to date and all kitties posted are currently AVAILABLE for adoption so check back regularly for updates of new kitties posted.
