Story
Hickory is a handsome three-and-a-half-year-old tabby with beautiful green eyes that look like jade. He is very toy-motivated and especially loves chasing a laser point. Hickory would be a great companion for someone patient and willing to pet him in low doses. He becomes overstimulated if he is petted for too long. Hickory is on a special diet, so it would be best for him to be in a home with no other cats.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cassidy is a very friendly 5 year old, who has a cute twin brother named Butch.  They have both been to the vet recently and passed their health exams with flying colors, and had vax updated.  They were both part of a 7-cat rescue in late July by VCC, when a long time volunter who had 7 cats had a medical emergency severe enough that she could no longer care for them at all.  We took them in and have spent 2.5 months socializing them to a place of cleanliness and safe living.  They'd love to have a second chance at their own small loving home.  They are bonded and used too other cats but do not have to be adopted together.  They both are really perfect for cat lovers, an older person/couple or family, who want active, interactive pets for close companionship.  Neither has ever lived outdoors so really must have indoor-only home.  Call use at 941-525-4568 if you are interested!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 6:33 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Birdey is momma to four kittens, 8-10 weeks old.  She is an adult, but appears young. Birdey had her babies under a boat in North Port, but they were all taken indoors when the babies were about one week old, so have never been exposed to any outdoor hazards.  Birdey is tame and very docile, and also very shy.  She would be a great companion to a quiet cat lover who has patience to win her trust.  And, she could be adopted with the tiniest black kitten, a female who always stays close to mom.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 6:33 pm
