Story
Somewhere in SW Florida, Ted's special person is just waiting to meet him. Ted started his stay at HSSC by hiding in his bed, eating at night and showing no interest in life at all. But no one gave up on him. After a couple weeks in foster getting one on one care, he is emerging. His lap sitting sessions are rewarded with little bits of chicken or tuna and LOTS of head, chin, and cheek rubs. In return, he gives purrs, hand butts with his head, and eye contact that says he's feeling the love. His body is no longer made of tense cement. What he needs now is to go right into someone's home to continue his wonderful progress. Going back to the shelter is not the answer for him. We know someone is out there who wants to make a difference to Ted. Please call HSSC and we will tell you more. The rewards are beyond anything you can imagine.

Story
Hello, I'm Rizzo! And I have toes and more toes! I'm young, sweet, and a little shy. I'm still learning about the world, but I love to play. I'm a bit of a chatterbox too. I love to chirp at people, it's my way of saying hello. I'm not always the bravest, but I'm getting braver every day, especially when chin scratches are involved. Those are my favorite! I may be shy, but I have so much love to give. I'm looking for a forever home where I can grow, play, and love. Will you be my forever friend?
