Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This house panther was part of the Brevard County Animal Services 'Return to Field' program which is when our county shelter (now run by the Brevard County Sheriff's Dept.) fixes stray cats and kittens and then puts them back on the street --- even if they are young, tame and adoptable! Luckily we intervened and Sammie was brought into foster care.He was adopted out and then returned 5+ years later. It took Sammie quite some time to readjust, because he had been by himself all that time, and we have a foster dog plus other foster kitties. We had Sammie thoroughly checked at the vet, got his shots updated, and he's ready to roll! Sammie wants to be the only kitty, plus he really prefers men but will accept attention from women (ha). Sammie loves laying in my husband's lap while we are watching TV. He would definitely do best in a quiet home with a retired person. As with any adult cat, it can take him about 3 weeks to acclimate to a new home / routine and about 3 months to feel completely relaxed and 'at home'.Contact Mona at meowmail1@gmail.comClick here to watch a video of Sammie.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 7:54 am
