Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi… I’m **Sockie** 💛 I may be a little shy at first, but I promise there’s a very sweet girl waiting underneath. I’m three years old, with the prettiest amber owl eyes (at least that’s what I’ve been told!). I like to take my time getting to know new people and spaces — the world can feel a little big sometimes — but once I feel safe, I’ll happily let you pick me up and hold me. I really *want* to trust… I just need a calm, patient heart to help me blossom. I’m a quiet, gentle soul who loves the simple things: a sunny spot to sit in, a cozy place to nap, and a peaceful home where I can relax. I’m a very clean girl — I use my litter box like a pro and keep myself tidy. I’m also a good eater (snack time is important, after all!). My dream home would be with a small family — maybe one to three people — in a calm environment where things aren’t too loud or busy. An apartment or a house is just fine with me, as long as it’s filled with kindness and patience. I don’t need training — just the right environment to help me feel safe and loved. My foster says you can’t help but love me and want to work hard to earn my trust. And they’re right. I’m the kind of girl who will make you feel special because you’ll know my love was built on patience and understanding. Once I settle into your home… I’ll settle into your heart too. Could you be my safe place? 💕 Adoption FEE: $100 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. TO ADOPT, APPLY ONLINE: www.mercyfullprojects.org PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to supply all known information about each animal in their profile. Story
Nubbins has minor incoordination when he walks. This is most likely caused by an infection that his mom had while she was pregnant. This infection damaged the part of Nubbins' brain that controls placement of limbs. This is common in cats and they typically do not require any medical treatment.
