Story
FROM PREVIOUS RESCUE: Tiara was part of a 4 kitten litter who were surrendered because they were all extremely sick and the owner couldn’t afford vet fees.  It took quite a while and a lot of medicating and syringe feeding to get them healthy and growing. Tiara is a little shy with strangers, but once she knows she is safe, she is sweet and affectionate.   UPDATE: Tiara settled into her foster home in Evergreen fairly well. She is truly shy at first meeting, still uncertain. Now she is at the EAPL Adoption Center at Chow Down.  Any adopter needs to be patient as she makes another transition into a new home. But she has made huge strides and enjoys being pet .  Complete a cat application at www.eapl.com - after approval to adopt, you can arrange a meet and greet. November 3, 2024, 7:13 pm

Story
DO NOT CONTACT EAPL!  CONTACT OWNER DIRECTLY: Joy        jlfjakengeo@gmail.com Bree is a 2 yr old tortie that I rescued in Oregon from a feral momma who kept bringing her babies to my back porch. The weather was horrible, and I couldn't trap the momma--she was quite fierce-- but I managed to get little Bree inside. With the intention to keep her inside and protected, plus get her used to being around humans and other cats, it went very well!! She was extremely playful, kept herself entertained, and totally fell in love with my older male cats. And it was wonderful to see my guys absolutely love her in return. They all snuggle. Due to a change in housing situation on my part, I ended up back in Colorado and am staying with family, and everyone has cats.  Bree is currently in a foster situation and is being very well taken care of, but recently their living situation changed and there are now additional people who are allergic to cats. So sweet Bree needs a forever home. She is a shy girl at first, but she has a really sweet temperament and is not a biter or scratcher. I have observed that she likes male cats and tends to "devil" females with excessive playing. Not mean playing, but chasing playing. November 3, 2024, 7:13 pm

Story
DO NOT CONTACT EAPL!! CONTACT OWNER DIRECTLY:  Nicki    nicki@jsimonson.com Daisy is an elderly (15 yrs), sweet gray tabby cat, who has her spurts of attention seeking meowing.  She spends most of her day snoozing on the couch or on the windowsill watching the birds outside.  She would be best in a quiet, unactive home, where she is the only pet.  She is ok with dogs but would prefer to not be bothered by them.  Her owner passed unexpectedly and other family members have cats that don't do well with others.   November 3, 2024, 7:13 pm
