Story
Mocha is undoubtedly the most beautiful kitten from his medium brown hair to green eyes, he is one UNIQUE kitty! Havana brown kitties hardly ever come through rescue, but what luck for us! Mocha is just the sweetest little love who talks to his foster mom and just wants to snuggle with her all the time. He revels in snuggles, affection and pets. He is on her lap at couch time and sleeps next to her or on her at night. Although he's grown up with cats and dogs, and could live with them if they were calm or chill, his best home would be a quiet one with calm teens or no kids and as the only pet. He just wants to be the king of his own castle!  adoption fee $500Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays during adoption event hours). Please give us at least a week's notice via wtfnapa@gmail.com or (707) 258-2287 so our volunteers have time to answer messages and get back to you. Thank you!  Cats/kittens come spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and more with an adoption fee/donation to Whiskers, Tails and Ferals in Napa, CA. Story
I am fostering Pony (male) as his original owner (family member) moved across country. He is SUPER friendly, sweet, affectionate, loves to play and likes a human friend or a mellow dog or cat?? ***He is ready to fly into your heart giving you lots of cuddles and attention. P/T play enthusiast and a full-time heart melter*** If you are ready to smile everyday Pony is the one! On arrival here in his foster home he was very scared, and it took patience to get him to feel confident. (previous cat skills is a plus) We have all supplies, even an automatic water feeder. He is about two years old, chipped and neutered. (I don't want to put him in a shelter as this would scare him and his true loving personality wouldn't be seen).

Best Match: Seeking an adopter with cat experience Would do best in a quiet home, maybe cat savvy kids and teens Bonded Pair Ollivander needs medicine daily to stay happy and healthy Prefers a home without dogs   Ollivander and Pippin an adorable pair of bonded boys. These distinguished gentlemen are waiting patiently for their new home – is it with you? While they’re initially on the reserved side with new people, once you’ve befriended them, their sweet nature just shines through.   Despite being older cats, both Ollivander and Pippin are a playful duo. Ollivander, aka Ollie, prefers playing with toy mice and balls he can chase and is happy to entertain himself. Pippin also likes chasing after mice, but he also really enjoys leaping high in the air to bat at ribbon toys. He’ll keep you entertained with his acrobatics! Both boys seem to be night owls and like to go on late-night escapades where they eat and play after hours. Ollie has a nightly routine where he patrols the house and checks out every room to keep an eye on what’s going on.   As a bonded pair, Ollie and Pippin have a deep connection with each other and are close. They like to sleep near each other under the covers of a blanket or bed, and often they’ll groom each other. Occasionally they’ll have a little spat that quickly resolves once they give one another space if needed.   Ollie is the more outgoing of the pair and loves seeking out attention from his humans. He can still easily startle, so being in a calm home with a patient adopter will be ideal for him. He loves being pet and getting chin scritches! Pippin is also very sweet and friendly; it just takes a little more time and patience for him to get comfortable with people. He also tends to be very protective of Ollie and may get defensive if you pet Ollie while Pippin is right next to him. A great way to win Pippin’s trust is by offering treats. Both cats are very food motivated, which is convenient as Ollie takes a heart medication pill. It’s very easy to administer—he practically prefers his pill pocket treat more than his actual food!   Ollivander and Pippin are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Story
Best Match:   Seeking an adopter with moderate cat experience Will be most comfortable with an adult only home Bonded Pair Ok with other cats Both need an inhaler Needs to be indoor only   Step aside, Batman and Robin. See you later, peanut butter and jelly. It’s time to meet the latest and greatest dynamic duo – Thunder and Broccoli! These quirky tabby boys are ready to fill your home with love, cuddles, and entertaining antics.   Thunder is a big boy with an even bigger personality. Friendly, affectionate, and confident, this lovebug craves attention and wants to be up close and personal with his people. He is a major lap cat, and his foster reports that he “sometimes sleeps in my arms with his paws wrapped around my neck and kisses my face.”  He eagerly approaches new people and makes a beeline for any item that catches his eye. He happily chats away with people and cats alike, and loves a good snooze in a sunny window. He also likes to let you know when he is done being pet or needs to play -- so knowing to watch body language is key.    Broccoli (the all brown tabby) is Mr. Popularity, the rare cat who gets along with everybody. He is friendly with other cats and people – to Broccoli, people just seem like oversized cats he can befriend. He also loves to play. Wand toys and balls are his favorite and he is an avid hunter of bugs. With intense focus, he will stalk a stray fly around the house for hours. It may sound surprising, but Broccoli’s favorite time of day is when he takes his inhaler! The churu probably has something to do with that, and this makes his asthma incredibly easy to manage.    Broccoli is described by his foster as “super soft and pure love.” Thunder entertains everyone with his funny, loud meow that sounds like a cartoon character, his snoring, and his many silly sleeping positions. These buddies share tons of snuggling,  grooming, and playtime. It doesn’t get better than that.   Thunder and Broccoli would do best with an easygoing, cat-savvy adopter in an adults-only home with no children. They would be happy to have other cats around as well.    Could you be the perfect match for this fun and funny duo? Thunder and Broccoli are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV. Thunder has tested positive for FIV.
