Story
Cheerio came into our care as part of a large group of cats living on a property, and due to this we believe he may enjoy the company of another cat in his new home.He is nervous to start and prefers to hide when feeling overwhelmed. We have him on an anxiety reducing medication while in shelter so that he can feel more comfortable with the hustle and bustle, and we would send him home with enough to ease his transition in the home as well.Cheerio is sweet, but not forward with his affection and is looking for a patient guardian to let him ease in at his own pace.He would be best suited for indoor living due to his nervous nature, but would love a good window for bird watching! If you are interested in adopting please fill out the application as the first step. Please note Cheerio will likely not be receptive to visitors as he is shy and needs more time to feel comfortable with new people.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Buff Weight: 5.17 Age: 7yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Meet Jammies! 🧡✨This beautiful 9‑year‑old orange tabby has had a tough go, but she's on the road to feeling so much better. Jammies recently underwent a major dental procedure that required removing all of her teeth, and while she's still healing, we're already seeing signs of relief.Jammies can be a bit of a cranky girl, which is totally understandable given the discomfort she's been living with. We're hopeful that as her mouth continues to heal and she becomes fully pain‑free, her sweeter side will shine through more and more. She'll need to stay on a wet‑food‑only diet for life, but she handles her meals like a pro and is adjusting well.If you have a soft spot for sassy seniors with big personalities-and even bigger potential-Jammies might be the purrfect match. She's looking for a calm, patient home where she can settle in, decompress, and finally enjoy the comfortable life she deserves. 🧡🐾 Primary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 7.05 Age: 9yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Sweet Bucky is a quirky boy, full of character and love to give once he feels comfortable! He came to us as part of an outdoor colony, and has started settling in with us quite well though he'd much rather be in a home.Bucky would likely do well in a home either as the only animal, or with another cat in the home due to his history. He would do best as an indoor only boy due to his nervous nature of new environments and people, however, we think he would prefer being a couch potato anyways! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application as the first step.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 4.37 Age: 5yrs 0mths 3wks
