Story
***FENCED YARD REQUIRED***"Hello World, I’m Jax and I’m ready for my forever home where I can be your beagle buddy!I’m a pretty great guy! I’m initially shy but am super sweet if you give me the space and a chance. Once we trust one another I’m a “snuggle on the couch all the time” kind of guy or a BBFF - that’s a beagle best friend forever!I’m content with life’s simple pleasures - a lap around the block, sniffs in the yard, a ball to throw to myself, and don’t forget a comfy couch with a blanket for my head. Oh, and if you’d scratch my ears, that’d be grand!Beagle, yep, got that down, or well at least part of it. I love following my nose on walks and around the house and in the backyard and well, I like sniffing everywhere. Though, I’m the quietest one you’ll ever meet, rarely barking or making a peep.Little kiddos can be overwhelming to me, but another doggo friend who would help me continue to gain confidence would be the dream. I’m passive and respectful, happy to oblige, and patient to win their friendship, my heart’s desire.I’m well on my way to being crate trained, house trained, and practicing good house manners. All that to say, I might need a quick refresher but am well on my way!I’m decent on a leash, loving to sniff the world and every blade of grass along the way. Cars, sirens, and other city noises can sometimes be startling, so I’d appreciate a kind soul who would help me learn the ins and outs of the big world around me."Check out 2 more videos of Jax on our youtube channel:https://youtu.be/FOBgRDpk_p4https://youtu.be/pAPLJ18FpMQIf you are looking for a beagle buddy and your dog needs a dog, reach out to FCAR about me, Jax, joining your chill fam!Jax's date of birth is 09/17/2019 and he weighs about 26 pounds. All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs.
