Story
Ruby and Rosie are a bonded pair of 6 1/2 year old Beagle sisters looking for loving home where they can stay together. These girls have spent their whole lives side by side and are closely connected and the best of friends! Both are so friendly, sweet-natured, and enjoy the simple things: leisurely walks, lounging in a sunny spot, and being near their people. They’re affectionate without being demanding, and their easygoing personalities make them a joy to be around. Ruby and Rosie will need to be the only pets in the home because Ruby can be dog selective. Both girls take a daily over-the-counter allergy pill. In addition, Ruby takes a daily prescribed thyroid medication and receives a monthly Cytopoint injection for allergies. If you’re looking for a pair of loyal companions and have room in your heart and home for two, these sisters could be the perfect match. Applications can be submitted at www.rescuerowinc.org

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
