Meet Shautae!  This shortstack of sweetness wants your help finding a forever family. Shautae, we we affectionately call Taetae and Shorty, is an absolutely adorable mixed breed with an estimated birthday of 09/01/2020. There has been some debate amoung our staff about what breed she is, but we have settled on a Pointer-Basset hound mix, weighing in aroudn 45lbs. What Shorty lack in height, she more than makes up for in her loving personality. Shorty makes friends as easy as pie, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who wasn't charmed by her tiny little legs. If you were to ask our staff about some of Taetae's favorite things, they would probably tell you how much she loves to lounge in the sun! This beautiful girl will take every chance she can get to lay out on one of her beds in the sunshine and catch some rays. Shautae also loves the company of other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. She is suited to a home without cats. Shautae does great with kids around 10yr and up, but younger kids tend to stress her out, so a home without little ones is best.  Shautae is fully vetted and spayed, her adoption fee is $175. Meet Marty! Party Marty is on the hunt for some permanent digs! Marty is a handsome young hound with an estimated birthday of 01/01/2024, weighing in just under 30lbs. Marty sports a sleek black and brindle coat and perky beagle-like ears! On top of his good looks, Marty has a wonderful personality. He is playful, outgoing, and always ready to socialize. Marty loves to go on walks and put his hound nose to use, the outdoors are definitely his speed! We think he would make a wonderful hiking or camping pal. Don't let that fool you, though, Marty appreciates a cozy bed and a home to nap in just as much as the next. On top of that, Marty does great with other animals! He loves to meet new dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any in the home. Meet Melvin! This sweet boy is ready for a home of his own. Melvin is a handsome young hound mix with an estimated birthday of 01/01/2023, weighing in under 30lbs. Melvin is easily recognized by his black and brindle coat, and his signature white socks! On top of his sharp looks, Melvin has an A+ personality. He is incredibly friendly, he gets along great with other dogs of all shapes an sizes, and doesn't mind the company of cats or kids either. Of course, if you already have any other dogs in the home, a meet and greet is required. Melvin is working on his manners and obedience skills every day, he already walks better and better on a leash and is getting the hang of some basic commands.
