You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Rambler is a Beagle/Lab/Terrier mix (we are guessing!) Who is oh so sweet and good natured. Rambler came to us from a background of hardship. We don't know the full story but was told part of one of his ears was shot off? Was he a stray in a rural area and was shot at? We are not sure, but he came to rescue pretty meek and frightened of humans.  He also came to rescue with heartworm. He was successfully treated for that and has been diligently kept on Heartguard (Tri Heart Plus) since then.  He also has made HUGE progress since being in rescue. He is now more trusting and happy and open. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash and loves to be with other dogs.  We are looking for a home for him with another dog (it helps his confidence) and a fenced in yard.  Rambler is one of those "heart dogs" that just get to you as you watch them embrace the kind of life they were meant to live.  Interested in adopting? Lulu was rescued from a shelter in Tennessee, the day she was to be euthanized - shelter workers said they knew her original owner and that they mistreated her. Lulu is approx 8 years old and around 30 lbs. She’s very friendly, good with other dogs, good with cats. She’s affectionate, sweet, and friendly. We would recommend older children (or no children) for her because she can get touchy about her face being messed with- she can snap in fear if she doesn’t like how her face/neck/upper body is approached, or it's too quick for her. She is said to be good with other dogs, kids and cats. She will be coming to rescue in a few weeks and needs a foster home and of course, a forever home.
