Hi friends! My name is Chance, and I’m a sweet, soulful 1½-year-old Beagle/Coonhound mix with a heart as big as my floppy ears. I’m searching for my forever home—the place where I can finally settle in, feel safe, and love my people with everything I’ve got. I’m a playful, affectionate boy who absolutely lives for toys, cozy snuggles, and quality time with my humans. I haven’t met a person I don’t adore yet, and I’m always ready to lean in for a good neck scratch or curl up beside you after a day of fun. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will greet you with a wagging tail and endless love, I might just be your guy. Not long ago, I took a big leap of faith and traveled all the way from Alabama to Minnesota with a few shelter friends, hoping my forever family would be waiting here. I’m loving the fresh air and new adventures! My instincts truly shine outdoors—I follow my nose everywhere, happily sniffing and exploring the world around me. A fenced yardwhere I can run, play, and investigate all the exciting scents would be a dream come true for me. I’m kennel trained, great on a leash, and a surprisingly quiet companion—not much of a barker at all. Walks are something I really enjoy, and I’m continuing to show just how well-mannered I can be. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and love making new canine friends. I do have one small health note to share: I had bladder stones once in the past, but since being switched to Hill’s Science Diet C/D, I’ve had no further issues. The food is affordable, easy to find, and helps keep me healthy so I can focus on what I do best—being a happy, loving dog. All I’m really missing now is you. A family to call my own. A couch to snuggle on. A yard to explore. A heart to love forever. If you’re ready for a playful, devoted companion who will brighten your days and fill your home with joy, laughter, and unconditional love… will you give me a Chance at my forever home?
