Story
If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Adoption Application. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes. This little guy came to ARPO after having quite a rough start, being hit by a car. With that said, he has proven to be a very tough cookie. He has persevered through all medical setbacks, and he has com out the other side as a happy and healthy hound boy. He is the sweetest little dude that loves to just be with his person. He would spend all day laying in his dog bed, while you lounge on the couch, if he could! However, don't let that fool you! He is a playful fella as well and is currently in a household with a variety of other animals. Bandit has proven to be friendly with both dogs and cats. He LOVES food and toys! If you're offering, he will accept it. Our goal is to find someone that understands Beagle, as he is definitely a true one. Bandit deserves a family that will show much as much love as he has shown us. He certainly deserves it! Bandit did have two fractures in his back leg that were splinted for several weeks per orthopedic vet recommendations. He may have a slight limp due to where the fractures were. Bandit also tested positive for Lyme disease and is finishing up a 30 day course of antibiotics. He will need to be re-tested at the end of this period and that will be at ARPO's expense if taken to his existing veterinarian. Bandit has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccinations. His approximate birthday is 6-4-24.If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please complete the online Adoption Application. If you would like to donate to this pet's care, please click here.
