Story
Introducing Buddy, a survivor whose story is etched in adversity. Having been found with his snout cruelly duct-taped shut, a haunting testament to human cruelty. Despite his traumatic ordeal, Buddy has been at the rescue since January, where he's been embraced by the loving care of our team. This sweet boy thrives on affection from his human friends and can't seem to get enough of it. He relishes playing with toys, indulging in fetch sessions, and embarking on long, therapeutic walks. While Buddy may be selective about his furry companions, his unique spirit shines brightly. He's kennel trained and a pro at walking on a leash, with a penchant for bird-watching during his favorite outdoor pastime. If you're ready to be a part of Buddy's journey toward healing and happiness, pay him a visit at the ranch, where he eagerly awaits his chance at a loving forever home.

Story
Hey there, I'm Ozzy! My story's got a mix of heartache and hope, but I'm all about bouncing back and living my best life. I was once on the dreaded euthanasia list in Palm Beach County, but my lucky break came when I landed at Big Dog Ranch Rescue in 2023. I had a loving family since I was a pup, but they faced tough times and had to make the hardest decision to let me go. Transitioning to shelter life was a bit of a challenge, but I've adjusted well. I'm house-trained, a cuddle enthusiast, and I've got my basic commands down making walks a breeze. I've got a soft spot for toys and still good for some zoomies, but my favorite pastime is snuggling up for some peaceful naps, especially in this Hot weather. I'm rockin' just one working eye and it's all good-I'm still full of spirit! I'd thrive best in an adult-only home where I can enjoy the calm and comfort I crave. I've got some awesome volunteers who take me on joyrides and even treat me to a cheeseburger from McDonald's every now and then (yep, I'm a big fan and will gladly give a handshake for it)! I am really good in the car and just lay there looking out the window and enjoy the ride. I'm ready to find a forever home where I'll get all the love and adoration I deserve. Ready to embrace my journey and make me your loyal sidekick? I'm ready if you are so let's go HOME!

Story
Choose Brownie and you'll be rewarded with a grateful companion. His foster family tells us that Brownie is housetrained, sleeps well, is quiet, and does fine being at home while you're out. Brownie is sweet, smart, gentle, and polite. But he is also hesitant, timid, and easily startled by noises and new experiences. He does best with routines and with owners who are calm and patient. Because Brownie can be timid, he prefers older children and prefers dog friends that are not too boisterous. While Brownie enjoys the back yard and will occasionally explore, he is also happy to hang out and chill. Brownie is learning to walk on a leash that is attached to a harness and he is now able to go on short outside walks. Brownie comes to his foster family for a good ear scratch, hugs, and love. Brownie truly shines in the updated profile pictures provided by his foster family. If you're looking for a sweet and quiet home companion, then Brownie is your match.
