Story
Beagle Mix Neutered Male 40 lbs 3 years Pakkun is a spirited mixed breed pup (almost 3 years old). We adopted him a few years ago when our work and life situation was different, and we did not have as many travel and work demands. He is an energetic pup, spirited and enthusiastic around other dogs and people, and shows his affection sometimes with his mouth. He has gone through several weeks of puppy training when we first adopted him, and an additional behavioral training course last year. He does love to go on walks and is a good running partner. He is speedy and loves to bound around like a gazelle at the dog park. He has learned a few tricks (sit, down, shake), but sometimes is afraid of unfamiliar (and familiar) things (leaves blowing in the wind, the washing machine, cars rushing by on walks). We are unable to provide the time and the attention to this kind spirit, and are trying to find him a new home before we leave the country at the end of December. If you are interested in learning more about Pakkun, please contact Ken at ken.shui@gmail.com. *PLEASE NOTE: This animal is listed as a courtesy for another organization or private party. This pet has not been evaluated medically or behaviorally by Rancho Coastal Humane Society and is not in our care. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker listed in the post for more information. Community Spotlight Adoptions are private adoptions and not processed through Rancho Coastal Humane Society.
