The breed was conceived from the mix of the Border Collie and the Beagle. The Border Beagle comes in typical Beagle colors - tricolor, black and white, brown and white, red, red-brown, and golden. Its coat can vary depending on which parent breed is dominant; it can be short and rough or long and silky. This active dog is may become a frequent barker if it is not trained properly. Its purpose is to provide companionship and be of use with its nose. This playful canine enjoys being able to exercise daily and makes for a great companion. This charming little guy mastered the doggie door in less than a day-talk about a quick learner! Whiskey is a playful bundle of energy who loves to chew on everything he can find (watch out, shoes!). He gets along fabulously with his furry friends and is always up for a game of chase! With his spirited personality, he's food-motivated and eager to learn. He's already making great strides in basic obedience, walks well on a leash, and has even figured out how to bark-just in case you need a little extra enthusiasm in your life! Whiskey enjoys playtime but also appreciates his crate, especially when there's a tasty treat involved. He's been neutered and, while he may have chewed through his cone afterward, his surgery area healed up just fine!

Meet Bellini! She's a playful young pup who came to us with her 5 siblings: Bellini, Rita, Whiskey, Bailey, Fireball, and also her mom Brandy from southTexas. Bellini is a smart and sweet pup who's ready to find her forever home! Her brother, Whiskey, recently had a DNA test, and the results are posted in the pictures-such an exciting family! This intelligent girl has quickly learned to use the doggie door and sleeps through the night from 10 PM to 6 AM, with some occasional daytime naps. She currently weighs 16 lbs and is full of energy and love! Bellini knows how to sit on command and is currently working on "stay and "high five. She loves a good game of fetch, though she's still figuring out the whole bringing the toy back part. And let's not forget, she's a certified smuggler who sleeps soundly in her crate! She adores her dog friends and listens very well. While she prefers toys that make noise, she happily plays with all kinds of toys!
