Story
If you love to snuggle and get really excited when good meals are served and consider yourself a foodie in need of a foodie friend, Circus is TOTALLY your guy! Circus is a beagle buddy who is an adult weighing around 28 lbs full grown. He may look kinda reserved at times but he has his loves and food bowls (filled with food) and people lovin's is right in his wheelhouse and he will fire up like you wouldn't believe. Circus does wonderfully with other dogs, bigger and smaller matters none to him. He is a lover of all people big and small too and could fit into any home that would love a guy small enough to fit on your lap with a smeller big enough to want to take in the whole world around him. Circus is a good boy in his crate, rides well in the car and is ready to head home with you ASAP. This beagle is the sweetest guy around and is sure to make life as fun as....a circus! *Weekend Host feedback: "He attaches to the human immediately- followed me all the time. He can live with or without other dogs, mostly wants his human. He was awesome during the downpour so we sat on the porch and he and my dog ventured down to the grass when it was only very light drizzle. Seems to prefer soft/canned food". "He did great in the crate at night other than that he was loose in the house. He enjoys exploring in the fenced in yard. He is such a great dog"!! Recent Weekend Host commented: " Circus is the chillest dog we've ever met. We don't have any animals at home, but he was great with our two young children (4yo, 6yo)." "Circus rides great in the car?" "The first night in a new environment, he was restless in crate, but after turning on an audiobook, he was perfectly fine and went right to sleep." "Circus showed us some bouts of silliness. He likes soft stuffies and soft treats." " We took him to a couple breweries over the weekend. He takes some time to get adjusted to the new place, but will settle right in and chill or sleep."

Story
You will NEVER rue the day you adopted Rue....we love this girl and we are sure you will too and her adoption day will surely become a yearly celebration of all the great things a beagle can bring to your life. Rue is an adult smaller sized beagle with Ah-mazing long beagle ears and a gorgeous coat. She is an adult who weighs about 25 lbs now but might do well to add a few more. Rue to a hoot and a half. She does great with other dogs and loves to take the world on one sniff at a time. Rue would love to join just about any home...she has fun anywhere really. She is great in her crate, adores a soft place to land a nap and is sure to be the brightest part of everyday in your home. Rue is a blast of a beagle! Come see for yourself. **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: " Rue is small in stature but big on confidence and cuteness. She would no doubt make a wonderful pet for anyone willing to give her a chance at her furever home. She interacted well with the other dogs on the walk, however she was also happy to jog along at her own pace, nose to ground smelling everything along the way".

Story
Porthos is a 6-7 year old Beagle who is sweet but very scared - he has obviously been mistreated by humans, so we are going slowly with him to gain his trust. He will need compassionate and loving humans to help him get over his fear. HOWEVER - he loves, loves dogs. They are validating for him and he will need a home with dogs to loosen him up. He doesn't seem interested in cats, but does love dog friends! Porthos is hw-, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. **Extra bonus points if you get his name reference!** To adopt Porthos, please go to apply.neshamarescue.org
