Approx. DOB:  5/14/22               Approx. Weight: 22Lbs Adoption Fee: $275 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Toddie is a 2 1/2 year old owner surrendered beagle. She is extremely affectionate! She loves sitting on your lap or next to you on the couch. She is not shy about asking for attention!   She loves chew toys and going outside with her foster siblings. She sleeps in a crate and can be found at times laying in the crate. She is smart and knows a few basic commands such as sit and stay.  She has the beagle bay and will use it when finding the scent of a squirrel or other animal when outside. Being a beagle, she is a scent hound and will require a fenced yard. She would do well either as an only dog or in a home with other dogs. We do not know how she will do with cats. Toddie is still learning how to ask to go outside to potty. She has been in our home about a week and has had a few accidents but overall does well. Toddie would do best with school age children or older due to her exuberance.   I have been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.   Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient.  You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m.  Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.  Would you like to foster a Furry Kid? Furry Kids' Refuge will supply the food & vet care while you supply the basic house rules & love.......win-win for all!!  Just visit our website http://www.furrykidsrefuge.org/category/fostering/  for more information. Thanks for your support! HOUSE BROKEN: (Needs Work) Trina has accidents in the kennel and needs more opportunity to go outside. ENERGY LEVEL: (Medium-High) Trina is energetic and loves running around, playing, and going on walks. She can be a little nervous at first with new people, but quickly warms up and is your best friend!
