Charlie is a sweet and cuddly boy. He loves his brother Benny. He likes to go for walks. What he really likes to do is cuddle up with you. His original owners have recently passed away. The husband in late 2023 and the wife in February 2025. We brought Charlie and his brother, Benny, in to live with us (and our 2dogs and our cat). We have older children. Charlie gets along fine with everyone except for one of my dogs. It is not Charlie’s fault for not getting along with one of my dogs it is hers. He gets along great with my other dog and cats. We have been crate training for bed and haven’t had any accidents since.

Meet Nugget! What a gorgeous puppy!!!! This “Nugget” is 8-9 months old and 40 lb. We believe is a greyhound mix. He never meets a stranger and loves to give hugs. We are working on the jumping up part…. He is learning commands quickly and will be a great pup with consistent training. He is going to need an active family… no little bitty kids and a yard to run and play. He would be perfect for taking to the dog park or on walks. Great in the car, on the leash, with other dogs and loves his pets. He takes treats nicely and shows no signs of aggression. To meet Nugget, please fill out an application! My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.I have tested heartworm positive. This means I have a parasite and need treatment. While my friends at HSNBA desperately want to help me, the shelter is too stressful an environment to undertake treatment and treatment itself is very expensive. The shelter has a few options to help with treatment, and if I steal your heart you should talk with them and your vet about what my treatment is like.
