Story
Bobby is a very smart and very beautiful greyhound mix. He is estimated to be about 6 years old. He is shy when he meets a human initially, but then warms up and loves the people he knows, showering them with kisses. He needs a smart owner who will give him a job. We have been working with him daily and he has become decent on leash and he knows some commands. He lived with children in his previous home and with another greyhound mix. The kennel volunteers really adore him but our adopters are not interested in this mixed breed boy. Available for adoption through Greyhounds Only, Inc., Adoption and Rescue. We consider applicants who live in Illinois within the area that our volunteers can service, which extends approximately 75 miles from Carol Stream, IL. You'll be busting out an Irish jig from the sheer joy Buster aka "Irish Hill" will bring to your life. Buster is like four-leaf clover: lucky to have! Buster is an expert fence jumper, so he requires an extra tall fence or to be leash walked. Max is one of the most fun and charismatic dogs you will ever meet! He truly is a shining star filled “to the max” with love, affection and positive energy! Max is a very active dog who likes to have a good time. He loves his walks and keeping everyone on their toes! He unfortunately would not suit an older person or children too young, as he can be quite strong on leash, however he is equally as good at laying on the couch and dispensing smooches! Max is a funny guy; his favorite form of playtime is playing dress up with hats and sunglasses and striking poses for the camera! Too handsome not to be a model! Max is also a very social boy. He has met children on a few occasions and gets along well with them but has never lived with them. He gets along well with other dogs, particularly other female greyhounds and he once lived with a Jack Russell, however he would be better off as the only dog in the house as he does like to be the star of the show and the center of attention! Max would thrive in a home with an active couple or a family with teenagers who can keep up with his energetic lifestyle, take him on plenty of walks and give him a few hats to try on! More than anything, Max would thrive in a home that can give him as much love and joyfulness as he gives out -- which is a whole lot. Max is an absolute sweetheart and would make for a wonderful companion and pet. Available for adoption through Greyhounds Only, Inc., Adoption and Rescue.
