Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.BINKY was saved and cared for by Muscat Dog Adoption, before sending him with other saved dogs to Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine. They arrived in the US on 28th January 2025 and were transported to the rescue where they are settling in. BINKY was cleared by the US canine center for diseases upon entry into the US. He is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm and tick tested negative, is on monthly preventatives, microchipped, weighs around 43 pounds and has an estimated date of birth or 7 April 2022. BINKY's story is that he was  rescued in June 2023 with his mum, Geyran who came to the US at the same time as him. Binky was born on the streets and with his mum and siblings lived as a happy and friendly neighbourhood dog for about one year until they were all targeted and shot. Binky & his mum survived, sadly his siblings did not. Binky was shot in the throat, and genital area. Luckily the wounds were superficial but the bullet in his throat was not removed because it was lodged in so deeply.   Binky and mum Geyran were taken to a wonderful Omani lady who cared for them until they were lucky enough to come to the US. They spent most of the time in large crates where they could stretch and stand up and were taken out to do their business and short walks. Twice a week volunteers would go and take all the dogs out on longer walks. Stray dogs in Oman are referred to as "Wadi Dogs" and are a mix of the popular sighthound breeds, specifically thought to be descendents of the majestic Saluki and other smaller breeds, many resembling whippets with their small agile frames. If not saved these dogs are often shot or brutally ran over and left for dead. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. BINKY is available for adoption for an adoption fee of $550, as noted he is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine and families are required to complete and submit an  adoption application and when approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and hopefully take home this sweet boy. Applications are processed with 24 hours of them being received. Story
Dolly is an easy-going girl who is looking forward to living out her golden years in your company on a comfy bed. Dolly does well with dogs of all breeds and sizes, although she can be somewhat protective of her personal space, so special attention to her sounds and body language is warranted at first. She has no problems with humans being in her space, and takes direction well when on walks and managing playtime with other dogs and toys. Dolly loves neighborhood walks and benefits from opportunities to stop and smell the flowers. Like many greyhounds, Dolly has a strong prey drive for small outdoor critters- squirrels, rabbits, and cats. Dolly will do well in a home as an only dog, or with 1 or 2 other dog siblings who are similarly laid-back and respectful of their personal spaces.

Story
Diddley is a wonderful 5 year old brindle boy. He is a bit shy when he first meets new people but once he knows you, he is your best friend. He is housebroken and sleeps in his crate at night and during the day he hangs around the house on any available dog bed. He is very good with the two dogs in his foster home and plays and runs happily. He loves to race the GO greyhound and golden doodle in his foster home and happily plays in the autumn leaves. Diddly is very well mannered in the car or on leash walks. Sometimes loud noises startle him so he would probably do best in a home with adults or older children. Diddley is not cat workable.

Story
Jade is a sweet and companionable six-year-old girl who has adapted to home life quickly. She loves her bed, snoot rubs, rubbing her head against your legs like she's a cat, and watching the world go by through the window. She loves meeting new people and is OK around other large dogs. She has a fairly high prey drive and is still working on staying calm on the leash when she spots squirrels and rabbits. Because of her prey drive, she may not be safe around small dogs, or may require extra supervision. She’ll make a great and lifelong friend to whoever she finds her forever home with! Jade is not cat-workable.
