HI - I'M APPLE JAX! (Ajax for short)! I'm a happy and fun male Greyhound-Pittie mix, possibly with some shepherd mixed in, in need of a foster or forever home. I'm such a happy, quirky dog! I would be a great companion for an active person who wants a mix of a couch potato and active canine pal. I'm a funny dude with a handsome face and long legs. I love to run and play, and I love my toys, too. I would be great in a home that can provide me some love and attention. Despite my 3-year-old age, I still feel like a puppy! I do fine with some dogs but not others, so would probably do best as the only dog in the home if you can have me! I will love you forever! I've been waiting awhile and keep getting overlooked, probably because I'm an unusual combination of dog breeds. I'm super cute, though! Can you foster or adopt me? I weight only 57 lbs. Missy is a beautiful black female greyhound, born on September 9, 2021, and weighing 60 lbs. She’s a recently retired racer who is just beginning to explore the comforts of indoor living. While she hasn’t spent much time indoors yet, Missy is ready to learn and adapt to her new life as a cherished companion. Currently, Missy shares her home with a Kelpie and a Staffy, although we’re still unsure about her compatibility with small dogs. She has also been around young children, including toddlers as young as 18 months, and has shown patience and calmness in their presence. Though she has a low prey drive, Missy didn’t pass her initial cat test, so a home without cats would be best. This sweet girl is looking for a forever family who can help her settle into home life and give her the love and guidance she deserves.
