He is a sweet and gentle 11-year-old Greyhound mix, sweet as can be. He weighs about 60 lbs. Little Dude is people friendly and has tested well with another dog and did well on his cat test! He is in good health, and would do well with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. We are looking for a foster or forever home for this wonderful boy. He is currently in California and available to meet! Please email for a foster or adoption application.

Story
Antonio was surrendered from a hoarder house. Love Letters from Foster 💌 Antonio is a sweet but shy guy! He has come out of his shell so much since being rescued and he’s learning how to run and play outside. He still loves to cuddle and burrow in his blankets but he knows how to ask for the bathroom and is a really good boy. Anyone who takes the time to get to know this little man will be pleasantly surprised and full of love

Story
We love Rey deeply, and making this decision has been incredibly difficult. She is a 9-year-old dog who is sweet, affectionate, and a loyal companion. She is fully crate trained and potty trained, and she enjoys being close to her people and soaking up attention. Rey does struggle with significant anxiety, which requires more time and consistency than we’re able to provide, especially with a baby on the way. We want to be honest that in our home, this would likely mean she spends more time in her crate than she deserves, which isn’t fair to her. She has done well with other dogs overall but would do best with separate feeding and supervision around high-value toys or treats. We are looking for a patient, understanding home where she can get the love, stability, and attention she needs to truly thrive.

Story
MEET AJAX! Ajax is a 6-1/2-year-old Greyhound-Pittie-Shepherd mix, in need of a foster or forever home. Ajax is a special boy who needs a special person to work with him and help him through some of his issues. He is the type of dog who bonds intensely to his person, and thus any transition is a challenge (and in fact, transitioning him to you could be challenging). But once he bonds to you, he's loyal to you forever. Ajax would be a great companion for an active person who wants a mix of a couch potato and active canine pal. Physically, Ajax is a quirky boy! He's got a pittie face, shepherd ears and long legs. He loves to run and play, and he loves his toys, too. He would do well with an experienced adopter or foster who can provide him with love and attention and some basic obedience training. He was once adopted a couple years ago but returned for jumping up on the adopters. But he was loyal to them, too. He has done well with most most dogs but would thrive as an only dog, too. He's not a van of the vet, so needs to wear a muzzle if he goes. Ajax weighs 57 lbs. If you can foster or adopt him, and have dog experience, please email for an application. He is currently in Southern California and available to meet.
