Story
Jimmy is an adorably awkward boy, with long legs and big ol puppy dog eyes. He is around 3 years old, and would love to go home with another dog that can show him that people aren’t so scary. He is a nervous boy, but getting more and more brave as he settles here at the shelter. Quickly learning how to walk on leash and how maybe affection is not so bad! We can’t wait to see how far he comes from the terrified pup he came in as. Luckily he has a great roommate to show him the ropes. Jimmy would love to go home with another playful pup that can continue to show him that the world isn't so scary, and be his built-in best friend! December 9, 2024, 3:51 pm

Story
Greyhound mix; Spayed female; 2 years; 30 pounds If you looked up “Loyal” in the dictionary you would find a picture of Tinsel. This sweet pup loves nothing more than to sit on the couch with her favorite people to binge her favorite TV shows. She also enjoys fluffy blankets, going on long car rides, tennis balls and eating cream cheese. Tinsel is a medium size of about 30 lbs. She has a sweet face with doe like eyes and a svelte body type. Tinsel has had some bad luck and been displaced a few times looking for her forever family. Moving from home to home caused her to lose hope but luckily after spending some time in a shelter she found her way to her foster family and is now ready to find a home to call her own. Tinsel has been working with a trainer to build her confidence and learn that the world is not so scary. She will need dedicated and committed adopters, who are willing to take things slow to help her continue to blossom. A trainer will be provided for her new forever family. Tinsel is currently living in a home with a family. If you are interested in learning more, we would love to chat about her history and adoption needs. For more information or if you are interested in adopting, please contact Tinsel’s foster, Jaime at sddogsquad@gmail.com. *PLEASE NOTE: This animal is listed as a courtesy for another organization or private party. Story
ARRIVING IN JANUARY!!! Meet Buster, a friendly and easy-going boy who adapts quickly to new environments. He was calm and relaxed when introduced to a new setting, happily sniffing around and making himself at home. Buster is great with people, and gets along wonderfully with larger breeds of dogs—he’s particularly friendly with Izzy, a female greyhound, and had no issues with two large male dogs. Buster walks beautifully on the lead and enjoys spending time with his humans. If you’re looking for a laid-back, sociable, and well-behaved companion, Buster would be the perfect addition to your family! Preventative due on the 17th of each month.
