Story
Holly is an awesome, very friendly and energetic young female. Between a year and a half to two years of age. We believe she's a mix of Greyhound and either Sloughi or Whippet, but could be another of the sighthound or Lurcher breeds. She loves to go out and just run around and burn off some energy. She is super affectionate and gentle, also very easily excited. But it doesn't take more than 5 seconds of giving her some love or petting her belly before she calms down. She is excellent with other dogs. (if they can tolerate her energy.) Just very out going and adventurous. Give us a call or email to schedule an appointment to come visit her.*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Please look at our website and make a list of one or more dogs that you would like to see. Story
Bugs is a handsome black greyhound with a bright, social personality. He greeted everyone politely during his assessment and even sniffed little Cc the Iggy—he’s definitely small-dog workable and will only improve with more positive interactions. This sweet boy loves people just as much as they’ll love him. He went straight up to his handler for pats and play, happily soaking up all the attention. Treats? Absolutely—Bugs takes them with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. Friendly, curious, and eager to connect, Bugs is ready to bring joy, playfulness, and plenty of affection to his forever home. Story
Diesel just turned 3 and is a playful, people-focused boy who thrives on human connection. He’s confident, affectionate, and loves being part of the action, happily coming when called and seeking out attention from his favorite people. Diesel enjoys engaging with those around him and forms strong, loyal bonds with his family. He is an enthusiastic walker who enjoys getting out and exploring his surroundings. He is alert and curious, especially around other dogs, and does best with calm, confident handling and continued guidance. He would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can fully enjoy being the center of attention and develop a strong, focused bond with his owner. In the right environment, this allows his affectionate and fun-loving personality to really shine.

Story
Olive is one of 7 remaining cuties available for adoption. This is a wholesome, healthy, playful litter that has benefited from remaining with their mother since birth. For additional information, call Lydia at 714-357-8405. An unplanned litter, Poochmatch will spay the 'mom' to end the cycle of reproduction. Please do NOT call to ask if this puppy is available for adoption. If this listing is still posted then we are still accepting applications. Please read the narrative in it's entirety. Please note our adoption procedures are explained in GREAT DETAIL BELOW. READ, READ, READ. Thank You. . . . . The best match will be selected and contacted to confirm an appointment at Petsmart in Yorba Linda on Saturday between noon and 3 pm or on a mutually agreeable day, time and place. We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog, please visit our website to complete an adoption application. It is in the ADOPTION folder at the top of our home page. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so. This is a great article from 3LostDogs that explains the trials and tribulations of puppyhood: http://3lostdogs.com/things-wish-everyone-knew-before-they-get-dog-2/
