🥓 Meet Maple Bacon! Maple Bacon is a 2-year-old, 70 lb St. Bernard mix with a heart as big as her paws. She’s a confident, affectionate girl who is all about adventure — say the word “car” and she’ll do happy feet until it’s time to go! 🚗💛 Maple has been settling in with her foster beautifully. She loves people, enjoys cuddles, and has a fun playful side — especially when she gets the big-dog zoomies. She knows “sit” and “shake,” and she’s been doing great with routines and structure. 🐾 In the home: ✅ Dog friendly – plays great with other dogs and enjoys respectful introductions ✅ Kid friendly – has done well with a 4-year-old once she got used to the noise and silly antics 🐱 Cats: needs work/management – she has started to stalk the resident cat, but redirects well; she should not be left unsupervised around cats at this time 🍽️ Resource guarding (mild during her foster home transition) – may guard her empty food bowl or shared water bowl from other pets (not people). This has been manageable with supervision and simple routines. Maple Bacon is truly a wonderful dog — loyal, fun, and full of personality — and she’s going to make an amazing best friend for the right home. 🧡🐾 Maple Bacon’s adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue’s care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are.
