Story
Bean is a Swissy that wants to be a Bulldog. She is a purebred GreaterSwiss Mountain Dog but she was the runt of her littler and doesn’t quite look like the breed standard. Bean loves her people hard and will give you all the kisses. She loves to snuggle right up close to your face. She gets along with the other dogs in our house. She is wary of new people and sometimes takes a little bit to warm up to them. She walks great on a leash and is experienced with an invisible fence.

Story
Hello! I'm Bronson! My foster mom believes I'm a mix of Rottweiler and American Bully, and I'm about one year old. I boast a sleek black coat and the most adorable ears that perk up when I'm joyful, not to mention my large paws! If you're seeking a dog who loves to play as much as he loves to cuddle and relax, look no further-I'm your perfect match! My foster mom affectionately refers to me as her 'living weighted blanket' because I'm happiest lying across her chest for hours. I also enjoy snuggling on top of my foster dog siblings when they're up for it. At my foster home, I have two canine companions that I absolutely adore! We spend hours playing, which is my absolute favorite activity-I love being chased, wrestling, and I even make the cutest play growl! Weighing in at around 80 pounds, I'd fit best in a home without small children to avoid any accidental bumps. I'd be overjoyed to have another dog to play with in my new home-it's the best way for me to expend my energy! I do require regular walks or a fenced yard to run and play for proper exercise. I'm still mastering basic manners, such as not jumping up when excited, refraining from using my mouth during play, and avoiding chewing on things when unsupervised. But hey, I'm just a puppy going through my 'teenage phase,' right? With a bit of training and patience from my new family, I'm confident I can overcome these habits. I'm house-trained, crate-trained, and I know basic commands like 'sit,' 'shake,' and 'lay down.' Plus, I'm quite good at walking on a leash! Having lived in three different homes through no fault of my own, I'm now eagerly waiting to settle into my forever home! If you are interested in knowing more about this dog, please submit an application. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HAUS-A-425 Once applications are approved, meet and greets can be scheduled. Story
Do you know the story of Little Orphan Annie? Young Annie went from being an orphan to finding her forever home. Her life and mine have a lot in common. Except Iandamp;#39;m still waiting patiently for my andamp;quot;happily ever afterandamp;quot; home. Iandamp;#39;m Anna&#44 and I recently came to the shelter because my owner could no longer care for me. We lost our home and were living in a truck&#44 and well&#44 it wasnandamp;#39;t good for either of us. We talked about separating so that I could come here and find a better future. A life with a home and family. So here I am. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I was so scared when I first came to the shelter. I was sad&#44 too. The only family and sense of security I had were gone&#44 and that can be devastating to a dog who has loved hard and been loyal. The noise of a shelter can be so frightening. I didnandamp;#39;t want to see anyone or do much of anything. Dogs grieve just like humans do. As the days have passed&#44 though&#44 Iandamp;#39;m coming out of my shell. Iandamp;#39;m resilient&#44 and I know I need to find joy in life again - even in the face of these very tough times. Little Orphan Annie stayed positive and never ever gave up&#44 so thatandamp;#39;s gonna be me! andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;m beginning to show my super nice&#44 friendly and sweet personality. While it takes me a bit of time to first warm up&#44 when I walk out of my kennel now&#44 my tail wags to greet you. I see friends all around&#44 and I know Iandamp;#39;m safe. Iandamp;#39;m quite good on leash&#44 and I enjoy time outdoors with a human friend. I know how to andamp;quot;comeandamp;quot; and andamp;quot;sitandamp;quot;&#44 and I search for pets and lovinsandamp;#39; wherever and whenever I can. Yes&#44 I am a resilient girl. The sun will definitely come out tomorrow&#44 and I know Iandamp;#39;m going to find a wonderful and loving family. Iandamp;#39;m a people friendly and dog friendly kind of gal who is beautiful both inside and out. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Since I am timid and shy here&#44 the shelter thinks Iandamp;#39;d do best in a home with kids a bit older so they can understand me. My friends here donandamp;#39;t want me to have any more stress or worry in my life and donandamp;#39;t want me to ever lose a home and a loved one again. So&#44 Iandamp;#39;m doing all I can to find you. And Iandamp;#39;m staying positive and upbeat while Iandamp;#39;m here&#44 knowing that you are coming soon. Please do come soon&#44 ok? Iandamp;#39;ll be waiting.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Love from Anna
