Story
Meet Gryffin! He is 3 years old and 100 lbs. "Gryff" is an adorable boy. He's a big couch potato and loves snuggles. Although he can sometimes be a little anxious, he is very loyal and loving. Tearing up toys and chasing his tail are his favorites. He's done well with kids, but he takes a little bit of warming up to anyone. He would also be great with other dogs, but it would have to be a slow transition. He would love a big backyard to protect and run the fence line. He would make either a family or an active person very happy!December 9, 2024, 3:11 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Stella but I go by Stellie-Bellie. I am guessed to be a 3 yr old Great Pyrenees, around 71 lbs, and here in Colorado searching for my furever family, all the way from Texas. When I first arrived here I was not feeling my best. But after some TLC, antibiotics, and anti-itch medicine I am good as new! I do have some weakness and instability in my hind legs but that doesn't stop me from getting the zoomies before bedtime! Plus the vet said my x-rays look good! True to her breed, Stella enjoys sunbathing in the yard and being stubborn when being called in. Despite her stubborn nature, Stella is eager to please and responds well to praise. She enjoys dividing her time between laying in the sun, protecting the yard and snuggled up at her humans feet. Stella gets along well with other dogs with slow introduction but would do best in a home with a submissive, low energy dog or as an only pet. We are still working on potty training and counter surfing, but with gentle correction, she is making good progress. Stella continues to have weakness in her hind legs but they do not seem to be in pain and doesn't stop her from enjoying running and playing. Her hip x-ray did not show any signs of problems. She had bad allergies and skin infections upon first arrival, but with a beef diet and allergy medicine, this issue is nearly completely resolved. Though needing a little extra love, Stella is such a sweetie and everyone that has met her has instantly fallen in love. If you have room in your heart and home, apply to meet miss Stellie.

Story
Meet Antonio, a handsome and gentle male Great Pyrenees. This guy is around 2 years old, has already captured the hearts of everyone at the shelter with his docile, shy personality, and is just begging for someone to love him! Tony is a true representation of the saying "gentle giant". Despite his large size and strong stature, he is a calm and docile dog who would love a family with patience and love to help transition him into his new life. *Update as of 12/28/24: He is currently with a foster in Denver who is working to try to pull him out of his shell.

Story
Do you like big mutts? Well HOWDEEE! My name is Charlie and I'm a beautiful boy, and guessed to be a 2.5 year old Great Pyrenees mix, at a smaller 65 lbs, and recently arrived from Texas! I'm a young guy with a big heart. I'm a gentle, kind soul and I love people, (even kids), but you'll have to help me learn how to be careful with little guys, I love dogs, but am not a fan of cats. My awesome attributes include being 100% housebroken. I'm fast at learning and want to please my person/people, I can sit and lay down, and my foster mom is really working hard with me on “off”. I walk pretty nice on a leash, too. I like my toys, but I am not destructive with them. Chew toys are good, (and I don't try and chew any furniture or stuff like that.) You may want to keep your slippers safe though.. hee hee!😉😂 I really enjoy being out in the yard sniffing and exploring, so a fenced yard would be a must for me. I sure would enjoy a dog buddy to play with, too, but not a deal breaker; you'll just need to keep me busy! My foster mom says I'm soooo very sweet and I'm kind just a big ole baby. She told me I'm already the best big ole boy ever and I'm an amazing dog! Hey, you wanna meet? Maybe I could be your love bug and new companion! XOXO Charlie I am waiting in Windsor.
