Story
Meet Rocky, an affectionate, happy-go-lucky Great Pyrenees with a silly streak that will brighten your days! This loving boy adores every person he meets and firmly believes that all humans are here to scratch his ears or give him pets. Rocky’s heart is as big as his fluffy coat, and he’s ready to share his love with a family who understands him.   Rocky does well with calm, smaller dogs but tends to feel uneasy around dogs his size or larger. He’d be happiest as an only dog or with a laid-back companion. Having lived with cats in the past, he’s shown he can coexist peacefully with feline friends.   Rocky has some resource-guarding tendencies with food and high-value treats or toys. He’s made progress, but his ideal home would have someone experienced with Great Pyrenees to continue helping him grow.   If you’re looking for a devoted, sweet companion who will fill your home with love and laughter, Rocky might just be your perfect match! Rocky was born in July 2021 and is about 80 lbs. If you are interested in this silly boy, please go to our website and fill out an application. www.newleashdogrescue.com ##2092226##

It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. Freya is a sweet two-year-old who has a mostly calm demeanor but is also always up for playing with her doggy companions or going for a walk. She's a cuddly girl who enjoys human affection and treats. She loves to lay her head on your lap and look at you with love in her eyes. She mostly plays well with the other dogs she has been around but prefers to be the alpha dog. She is good on a leash and doesn’t stray too far away in the yard at her foster home. Her charming blond fur with black markings and endearing "Yoda ears" make her even more lovable. She is gentle with kids and has even gently nuzzled up to a visiting baby. She has quickly learned to use the dog door and to sit, demonstrating her intelligence and eagerness to please. While she's generally good with children and other dogs, she can become anxious in some overly stimulating environments. We do think that once she settles into a family of her own, this will improve. She is eager to love and be loved. With patience and understanding, we believe Freya will thrive and become a most cherished companion. She simply needs a loving home to help her adjust to her new life. After saying good bye to her puppies she is ready for a life of her own.

It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. Are you looking for a larger-than-life addition to your family? Then look no further because Casper will check every box. He’s a huge giant puppy that’s all about playing, taking long naps in the sun, good meals and cuddles. This goofy boy will need room to galivant around, so apartments are probably not ideal. Have kids, all the better to throw a ball and give chase. Have other dogs and he will be in heaven! Casper is fully vetted and recently had his manhood giblets snipped. He’s crate trained and almost potty trained with only the occasional accident. Casper does prefer to eat in his crate, as a growing boy he does not like to share his food with other fur siblings. Just in time for Spring time hikes or lazy days by the pool, this kid is up for anything.

Story
Meet Slade, a smart, charming, 5 month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing 43 pounds. He’s neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on shots, and has a soft, beautiful coat. Slade loves snow and has been great with house training—no accidents, and he sleeps through the night in his kennel. He’s friendly with all dogs, loves people, and is very smart. He already knows how to use a bell on the door to go outside! Slade enjoys squeaky toys and bones. He lives with two other dogs and might be better in a home without very small children due to his size, and because he’s still learning his size. With proper training and introduction he’d be fine! He’s still a puppy but growing fast. Slade will likely be a good fit for someone with a more active life style and possibly room to roam. 📍Being fostered in Arkdale, WI ⏳Been waiting 1 month to find his forever home 🏁My adoption fee is $350 and you can see more about me & the rescue at www.Lastpawrescue.org .
