Story
Abby is a gorgeous 2 year old mixed breed female. Her DNA test revealed she is 56% Pyrenees, and a small percentage of many other breeds. She has a beautiful brown and white coat and a sweet but shy personality. She weighs about 75 pounds. Abby is a very sweet girl who has lots of love to give. She can be very shy at first, but once she gets to know you she enjoys people of all ages. She particularly loves her foster mom and and the resident 13 year old boy, but she enjoys spending time with the other kids of varying ages in the home as well. She can be a little nervous around men. She is potty trained and is not destructive. She gets along well with dogs of all ages and sizes. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, up to date on Heartworm prevention, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. She is being fostered in Delavan, WI. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. ❤𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒖𝒕𝒕: TANK ❤🐾 Tank was recently surrendered to our rescue and is now ready to start looking for his forever family! He was found frequently wandering his neighborhood and when confronted, the owners decided they just wanted to get rid of him. Now he is currently living in a foster home in Mequon, WI, and is doing amazing!🥰🙏 Tank is a beautiful 1.5-year-old Great Pyrenees and is such a sweet boy! He has an awesome disposition, typical of his breed, and is such a lover! He is getting along great with his foster siblings and the cats in the house! He doesn't pay the cats any attention. He is potty trained and is working on learning basic commands and walking on a leash. Tank was at our holiday meet-and-greet and did so well with all of the commotion and meeting all of the people and other dogs! Tank is a wanderer and therefore, needs to be adopted by someone with a fenced-in yard. 🐶 He is not fixed yet and is scheduled with HAWS in January 2025. This is why his price is higher since spay/neuter costs is based on the weight of the dog. ❤️𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝑶𝑼𝑹 𝑴𝑼𝑻𝑻: 𝐊𝐘𝐋𝐄 ❤️🐾 𝐊𝐘𝐋𝐄 is currently at a high-risk kill shelter in Georgia and is hoping to catch a ride to Cedarburg, Wisconsin on 1/11/25 with Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin. 🚐💨 He needs an 𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 or a 𝐅𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 In order to secure his spot on the truck, otherwise, he will be stuck at the shelter. 😢 𝑨𝑩𝑶𝑼𝑻: 𝐊𝐘𝐋𝐄 was found on the side of the road all by himself in rural Georgia and brought to the local animal shelter. He looks to be a Great Pyrenees or St. Bernard mix 🐶. He is the sweetest, friendliest boy. He was recently placed in a foster home and loves the other pups and cats there. He loves snuggling, playing with the other dogs, and being outside. Could you be the one who give 𝐊𝐘𝐋𝐄 a forever home?? 🙏❤️ 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝: Great Pyrenees/ Australian Shepherd Mix 𝐀𝐠𝐞: 10 weeks old 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫: Male 𝐒𝐢𝐳𝐞: 15 lbs 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐲/𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝: not yet 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝: working on it! Story
Meet Gertie, a sweet and gentle 1-year-old pup with a heartwarming story of resilience. Rescued from a high-kill Texas shelter, Gertie gave birth to 9 puppies on the day she was set to be euthanized. Despite her tough start, Gertie’s loving nature shines through. She's docile, submissive, and plays well with other dogs, while being non-reactive toward cats. Gertie sleeps quietly in her crate and enjoys both playtime and relaxing by your side. Due to her past, she needs a patient and loving home, especially when it comes to warming up to men. Could you be the one to show her the world? FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping. For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.
