Story
Meet Bonnie, the sweetest sidekick in the canine world! Bonnie was recently surrendered due to her previous owners being unable to provide enough exercise/enrichment. Just like her namesake, Bonnie is a lovable rogue with a heart of gold. She may not be robbing banks, but she'll be stealing your heart with her cuddles and affectionate nature! Bonnie is the perfect partner in crime for snuggles and love. Weighing in at a hefty 86 lbs, this girl needs space to run and play but she is certainly a gentle giant after some good exercise time. Bonnie does great with other dogs and might enjoy going home with a new friendly canine sibling! She previously lived with young kids and cats but might be better suited to a home with older kids and no cats as she proved to be a bit too rambunctious for the little ones. Bonnie is spayed, up to date on core vaccinations, has received flea, tick, & heartworm prevention, and is microchipped! Will you team up with Bonnie and let this cuddle bandit into your life? Contact the adoption staff at 920-733-1717 or email adopt@foxvalleypets.org!

Story
Meet Gertie, a sweet and gentle 1-year-old pup with a heartwarming story of resilience. Rescued from a high-kill Texas shelter, Gertie gave birth to 9 puppies on the day she was set to be euthanized. Despite her tough start, Gertie’s loving nature shines through. She's docile, submissive, and plays well with other dogs, while being non-reactive toward cats. Gertie sleeps quietly in her crate and enjoys both playtime and relaxing by your side. Due to her past, she needs a patient and loving home, especially when it comes to warming up to men. Could you be the one to show her the world? FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping. For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.

Abandoned on the edge of a small rural Texas town, Ranger was rescued by compassionate folks who recognized his incredible potential. Ranger is a gentle and submissive soul who adores people and gets along splendidly with both dogs and kids. His sweet nature and loving demeanor make him an ideal match for both first-time owners and families alike! Though he is on the larger side at 75lbs, we promise this fella is nothing but a gentle giant! After being given a second chance with good food, treats, and plenty of affection, Ranger is now thriving and ready to share his boundless love with a loving, stable forever home.
