Story
Meet Snow! Age: young Weight: 90 pounds Good with: Dogs and cats (I haven't been around any kids yet, but I could do well with older, more respectful kiddos) House trained: yes Crate trained: I'm not really a fan of crates, but I'm a good girl, so I don't need one. Special needs: I recently had knee surgery on my left knee, but luckily my right knee didn't need surgery. I will just need my forever family to continue to monitor my knees to make sure they are A-ok! Because my breed tends to be strong and stubborn, Guardian Breed experience is preferred. I will also need a fenced yard. I'm a beautiful young gal who turns heads wherever I go! Everyone tells me how pretty I am and I know it. My fur is literally as white as snow! I love going for walks, so a family who will take me on walks would be wonderful. I probably shouldn't live in an apartment because sometimes I use my voice, and given my size, it can be a big voice. Plus, I can be protective of my house from time to time, but I'm young and if someone commits to working on me with that, I'll learn that visitors are always okay if my family says so and invites them in. Once I know people, I love them. All 90 pounds of me! But I like my space too, so if I need my alone time, I'll let you know with a little grumble to let you know "not right now". I'm a great car rider, and I'll never be too big to wear clothes, and I'm nice to fur-friends, too! I'm hoping my forever family is out there to let me love them and love me in return! Hopefully that's you! *Snow is being fostered in Lake Geneva, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Story
Special needs guy with a wobbly walk! It doesn't seem to bother him. Hank was found in some bushes in TX, emaciated and wobbly, of course. He has put on some weight and has an appointment with the neurologist to see if we can get an understanding of the reason behind the wobbles. But the theory so far, is that he had parvo as a pup and that had a neurological effect. He is happy and snuggly and LOVES to be outside. He would love to have a farm to "work"...or at least pretend! He's very sweet and gentle and loves to be loved on!

Story
Remi is a loving and protective 3 yr old rescue. He's come a long way with our family, but has become extra protective since our twins joined the pack, especially with less familiar folks, therefore sadly we decided to re-home him. He loves attention and pets and belly rubs. He thinks he's a lap dog and will literally sit his bottom in your lap. He isn't good with most other dogs, reacts by barking lunging etc. likely due to lack of early socialization as a stray, paired with anxiety, but he did befriend our dog trainers dachshund. We use a pinch collar to help keep him under control on walks. He does well with our cat although we have a gate separating them moreso because the cat is super skittish. He has been gentle and relatively calm around the babies, but would probably be better around older kids/teens. He loves peanut butter, cheese and hot dogs. He takes some time to build trust. He's never had accidents inside, but also has hip dysplasia that's controlled with pain medication.

Story
Meet Atman! Atman is a 1.5-year-old male Great Pyrenees who is looking for his forever home. This loyal and loving dog is ready to be a dedicated protector of his family and home. While Atman is loving with those he trusts, he does have some stranger sensitivities, so he will require an adopter who understands his need for time and space to warm up to new people. Due to his personality, Atman would do best in a home with children 13 years or older. It's important to note that Great Pyrenees are known for their independent and intelligent nature, so prospective adopters should do their research on the breed to ensure they're equipped to provide the necessary mental and physical enrichment this breed requires. Atman will thrive in an environment where he can stay active and engaged, whether through outdoor activities, puzzle games, or training. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will enjoy being part of a loving, dedicated family, Atman might be the perfect match for you! Primary Color: White Weight: 36 Age: 1yrs 6mths 1wks

Story
**COME AND MEET ME THIS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1ST!!** END OF THE LEASH - HALES CORNERS 5430 S 108th Street Hales Corners, Wisconsin 53130 (414) 425-7387 Sal is an adorable 2 month old mixed breed male puppy. He has a beautiful white fluffy coat with water blue eyes! Sal found himself in a tough situation in rural Texas when he and his siblings, along with their mom, Ivory, were found on the side of the road. He is excited to come to Wisconsin and have his very own family. He is also excited that after taking such good care of her puppies all by herself, that they can repay their mom by helping raise the funds for her much needed vet care. He enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. He is working on his potty training, however his new family should be prepared to do additional training while he learns the routine at his new home in WI as he is just a young puppy. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. His adoption fee is $750, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should he not be a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable.
